Candid photographs give Kate and Rio Ferdinand fans a sneaky glimpse into their “new chapter” following their move to Dubai.

The Mirror told how the couple had left the UK for the sunny United Arab Emirates (UAE). Now, stunning snaps of their new scenery, including a picture looking onto the famous Burj Khalifa building with three of their children, have been posted on Instagram.

Fresh detail about the move has also emerged, including how the bolthole was listed for 32.5million dirhams (£6,550,310) as of April this year. The exclusive gated community of Al Barari is dubbed the Green Heart of Dubai, having been praised as an award-winning eco-community, boasting around 15.3million square feet of preserved green space.

Properties there are celebrated for their “generous layouts” and “clean designs,” qualities reflected in the batch of new photographs Rio, 46, and 33-year-old Kate have posted online. One image shows the couple in the pool of the grand seven-bedroom mansion, where they will live with son Cree, four, and daughter Shae, two, as well as Lorenz, Tate, 16, and Tia, 13, who Rio had in his previous marriage.

Writing on Instagram recently, former TOWIE star Kate said: “A new chapter, a fresh start – because if we don’t try, we’ll never know. Ahhh! We’ve talked about this for so long, and now it’s finally real… we’re here, we are making a new home in the place we met!”

The family had lived in Bromley, southeast London, in the UK where Rio worked as a pundit for TNT Sports. However, the Manchester United legend quit this role for the move overseas.

And his new pad boasts a “state of the art” kitchen with high-end appliances, as well as a sleek centre island with grey counter tops. The pictures show the minimalist approach in the master bedroom, which has furniture with wooden and brown accents. The main bedroom, though, does come with a “spa-inspired” bathroom, his-and-her walk-in closets and a balcony to enjoy the views of not only their lush garden but the far-reaching lake.

There’s an open plan living area, which has with light green curtains, in keeping with the sprawling foliage outside. The views of the luxe pool through the wide patio doors are splendid.

It is quite the change for the clan, particularly Rio, who was raised in the hustle and bustle of Camberwell, south London. Rio, capped 81 times for England, had seen son Lorenz sign his first professional contract with Brighton in July. However, the teenager has joined the family to the UAE.

The home in Al Barari is near Dubai’s major social hubs and amenities. The neighbourhood is home to other celebrity families, including The Real Housewives of Dubai star, Caroline Stanbury, and her husband and ex-Real Madrid footballer Sergio Carrallo.
