Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh has given fans a peek inside the gorgeous London home she shares with her son, mum and boyfriend Louis after revealing one strict house rule
Ranvir Singh may be known for her early morning starts on Good Morning Britain, but when she’s not on daytime TV you’ll find her at her cosy London pad.
Ranvir, who joined the ITV show back in 2014, has become a familiar face on our screens alongside the likes of Susanna Reid, Charlotte Hawkins and Kate Garraway. During her stint on the show, the 47-year-old has given viewers a peek inside her home life by sharing what it’s like to live in her house.
Back in 2023, the news anchor revealed that dogs weren’t allowed on her sofa during one debate on GMB which saw an expert joined by their well-behaved pooch, Loki. “Now, Loki, if you came to my house… Loki is not, you can’t have dogs on furniture in my house,” she said. “It’s a big no no. Loki, no. No thank you.”
As well as declaring her no dogs on the furniture rule, Ranvir has given a glimpse inside her London life over on Instagram. In one post, the GMB star shared a look inside her cosy kitchen which featured wooden cabinets and black tiles.
To spruce up the classic space, a bouquet of pink and white flowers could be seen positioned in front of a window. The timeless feel has been seen in other rooms on Ranvir’s property too. In another snap, she posed for a mirror selfie from one of the home’s bedrooms.
In the photo, fans caught a glimpse of the room’s warm off-white walls which helped to give the space a bright feel. Meanwhile in the background a wooden framed double bed which was decorated with white sheets could be seen.
Given her role on Good Morning Britain and Lorraine sees Ranvir wearing an assortment of stunning clothes, it’s only natural that her home is filled with some of her workwear. Sharing a look inside her enviable collection, Ranvir opened a white wardrobe to reveal a cupboard overflowing with colourful dresses and blouses.
In addition to living with her son Tushaan and mother, last year Ranvir shared the exciting news that she’d asked her boyfriend Louis Church to move in with her. The TV personality let slip the huge update during an interview with The Telegraph.
“[At 5:30am] I try to talk myself back to sleep but it doesn’t always work. I get up, make a decaf tea and start chopping an onion for a dahl for lunch,” she said. “My partner Louis is terrible. He always hits snooze every ten minutes – it drives me mad!”
She also explained how Louis and Tushaan had formed a close bond, sometimes meaning she is kept out of their activities. “I’d love to say I spend a wintery evening in, playing family board games, but in reality, Louis and Tushaan play video games and I’m excluded!,” she said.
Ranvir and Louis met back in 2020 during her time on Strictly Come Dancing when Louis, who is 18 years her junior, was working behind the scenes as a production secretary. In 2022, Ranvir opened up on their relationship and explained how it was a “blessing” that their friendship turned into something more.
She also spoke about their age gap. “Age can define life experience, but that is only valuable if you’ve learned from it – it doesn’t always mean you’ve got your life figured out.
“You can find a 50-year-old man who will have no idea about how to be a good partner. So being 27 is not reflective of that,” she told Fabulous Magazine. “When I was 27, I was probably a lot more immature than Louis is. There are things that he is better at than I am in terms of just being a good human being. And I’m learning from him. So to me, it’s a complete joy.”
