Former Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson recently reunited with Love Island star Samie Elishi at a party weeks after they went their separate ways. Onlookers revealed the former couple looked super cosy with each other as they seemed to chat happily on more than one occasion.

The reality star duo enjoyed a brief romance earlier this year following his split from Love Island’s Zara McDermott, but it didn’t work out due to their ‘busy lives’. “They both have busy lives, it just didn’t work out,” it was previously revealed to The Mirror as an insider insisted they ended things on good terms.

He met reality star Samie during an episode of Love Island’s Aftersun earlier this year. In May, the pair were spotted in an intimate embrace outside the birthday party of Olivia Attwood, held at Mayfair’s Bacchanalia.

Samie seemed positive about their relationship when she discussed her exes on the Chloe Mediumship podcast.

Revealing she had a “gut feeling” in the past about things that ‘weren’t mean to be’, she said she was currently feeling good about her relationship, saying: “There’s been no bad stuff at the minute so yeah I suppose it is all positive right now. It’s early days.”

The two unfortunately split up last month. Not long after their romance fizzled out, they were spotted at the same Rehab’s Rooftop Spa launch party. They were seen, in pictures shared online, having a chat alongside Made In Chelsea co-star Lucy Watson at Shoreditch House.

The reality stars joined the likes of Loose Women’s Stacey Solomon and Spice Girls’ Mel C at the bash, which was celebrating the release of the REHAB Retreat Range.

A few hours before, Samie took to her Snapchat to reveal she was going to the party before hopping on a plane to Bali for a much-needed girls trip the next day.

Last month, a source close to Sam told The Mirror of his split from Samie: “They both have busy lives, it just didn’t work out.” A source confirmed they were over and ended on good terms.

Sam previously date fellow Love Island star Zara McDermott for five years before they went their separate ways in December last year.

Hours after the breakup from Samie, Sam was spotted back on celebrity dating app Raya. However, it seems Sam has been unable to find a connection on the app full of famous faces. He has made the decision to stay single for a while and is not going to rush into another romance.

Speaking on his Staying Relevant podcast, Sam said: “I’m going to work on myself. No dating, I’m not ready and I’ve realised that.” His sister Louise has already shared her wishes for his next partner as they need to be “classy” or “well to do”.

The former Made In Chelsea star shared: “Louise thinks I should go out with Emma Watson, who plays Hermione Granger in Harry Potter.”

However, best mate Pete Wicks joked: “I think you have more chance with the ginger fella.”

Sam added: “Ron! No, Louise thinks I should go for British thespian because she thinks its a little different, classy is the wrong word, but well to do.”
