Interrail by National Rail is slashing its prices on its Interrail Global Passes and its One Country Passes for Black Friday, with savings of up to 25 per cent
This Black Friday Interrail by National Rail is offering customers 25 per cent off Interrail Global Passes and selected One Country Passes.
For Black Friday, Interrail Global Pass — which gives travellers the opportunity to enjoy unlimited travel on the national railways of 33 participating countries, as well as some participating ferry lines – will start from just £134 for a solo Global Interrail Pass instead of £180.
In addition, the Interrail One Country Pass — which helps travellers delve deeper into a country’s culture and seek out its hidden gems with access to its trains and attractions – will start from £37.50 for a solo One Country Pass, normally priced from £50.

The Interrail Pass can also be purchased as a digital pass, which travellers have 11 months to activate. The one country pass 25 per cent discount does not include some countries though, such as Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, Germany.
The offer will be active from November 26 to December 17. For example, an Interrail youth seven-day pass will be £182 instead of £243, an Interrail family (one adult + one child) seven-day pass will be £243 instead of £324 and an Interrail family pass but for two adults and two children for 10 days will be £570, down from £760.

Spring in bloom: Netherlands – Keukenhof Gardens
Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, is beautiful to visit in its full springtime splendour. The Keukenhof gardens is the epitome of Springtime in Europe, with its world-famous tulip fields announcing spring’s arrival with a kaleidoscope of colour as far as the eyes can see.
Summer Sunshine: Italy – Cinque Terra and Tuscany
Embrace the spirit of the Mediterranean on an enchanting train ride through Italy, discovering the captivating regions of Cinque Terra and Tuscany. Here, there is Parma on your way to La Spezia, and there is also a doorway to the picturesque villages of Cinque Terre.
There are many hikes in the area too including along the scenic coastal trails that connect the colourful villages, with crystal-clear waters of the Ligurian Sea and fresh seafood dishes. Then, settle in Genova, to take a day trip to Portofino, a luxurious village on the Italian Riviera. Finish your itinerary by travelling through Tuscany, taking in Pisa’s architectural treasures and Tuscany’s cultural hub, Florence.
Autumnal exploring: Hungary – Budapest
Budapest is great for budding explorers, as it offers the opportunity to become fully immersed in its rich history. Witness the bullet holes and shrapnel pockmarks on buildings as you uncover the history of what happened during WW2 and the 1956 uprising.
If you’re looking for autumn foliage, explore one of the city’s many parks, including Margaret Island and Városliget. In the autumn months, they all transform into an array of reds, oranges and yellows. The, in the evening, you could head to enjoy one of Hungary’s excellent wines at a local bar.
However, if you’re a fan of hot springs, the city’s thermal baths are the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long walk along the Danube. Then, enjoy a scenic train ride to your next destination, with Vienna and Bratislava both easily accessible from Budapest.
