Jacqueline Jossa and Dan Osborne released a statement regarding their split but the famous duo reportedly have no intention of getting divorced just yet with ‘last-ditch’ talks held
There has been no conversation of a divorce between Jacqueline Jossa and husband Dan Osborne despite their split, a pal has said. The pair’s eight-year marriage appeared to be over after Dan moved out of the family home last week.
However, it’s said the EastEnders actress has been making a last-ditch attempt to save her relationship with the former TOWIE star, with her seemingly hopeful it can be salvaged. Jacqueline, 32, has reportedly told pals she has no plans to start divorce proceedings despite their tough times. It’s thought the soap star and her 33-year-old husband are not ready to bring in the lawyers just yet.
A friend of the pair has claimed: “Jacqueline and Dan have effectively ended the marriage but she wants to try to get back on track. Things have been very difficult between them but she still has love for Dan.
“He’s still not living at the family home but he and Jacqueline are talking things through. There has been no conversation about divorce,” they told the Sun.
Dan and Jacqueline, who share two children, Ella, nine, and Mia, six., released a joint statement at the weekend in which it was stated that their “top priority” remained their children, which also includes Dan’s son Teddy, 11, from a previous relationship. It’s said Dan has moved out of the family home and in living nearby at present.
The statement announcing their split released by the couple and read: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye.
“They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents — something that will never change.
“Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”
Jacqueline was seen without her wedding ring following the statement. She was spotted coming out of a gym in Essex and looked to be in good spirits. The split comes after Jacqueline tried to set the record straight regarding their relationship last year. She shared a rare insight into their marriage at the time as she spoke out about allegations of infidelity from Dan as well as another split.
She shared a string of loved-up snaps of her with Dan at the time and gushed: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world.
“Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more!!”
