The TOWIE and EastEnder’s stars have called time on their eight-year marriage as Dan is believed to have moved out of the family home

Hours after the news of the shocking break-up of TV stars Jacqueline Jossa, 32, and Dan Osborne broke, the former couple have released a statement regarding their split.

The pair have been married for eight years and share two children together as well as a child from Dan’s previous relationship. However it just wasn’t meant to be as Dan, 33, is believed to have moved out of the family home just last week, months after the couple were said to be “shocked” by speculation that they had split.

In just January 2025, the pair who have long been plagued by negative speculation about their relationship publicly denied that they had split. The pair have now come out asking for “respect and privacy” and have said that “their children remain their top priority”.”

The statement released by the couple said: “Jacqueline and Dan are handling things privately, choosing to keep their lives and relationship out of the public eye.”

It added: “They kindly ask for respect and privacy as they navigate this together. Their children remain their top priority, surrounded by love and care from both parents — something that will never change.

“Above all, Jacqueline and Dan have each other’s and their children’s best interests at heart. There will be no further comment.”

It was previously reported that just hours before the bombshell news, Dan was seen smiling and posing in pictures online. With Jacqueline also sharing pictures in her weekend fit simply captioned “Saturday”.

Jacqueline, famous for playing Lauren Branning on EastEnders and Dan, who found fame on The Only Way Is Essex married one another back in 2017 at a Cheshire manor house. The couple are proud parents to Ella, nine, and Mia, six, while Dan shares son Tommy, 11, with an ex-partner.

Their family home was put on the market earlier this year, with reports suggesting that Dan had purchased a home in his own name nearby. Last year, she shared a rare insight into their marriage as she set the record straight following allegations of infidelity from Dan as well as another split.

Last year, Jacqueline shared a rare insight into her marriage. She shared a string of loved-up snaps alongside her husband and gushed: “Just realised I haven’t even posted on the grid about Daniel’s bday or our anniversary and I just wanted to do a little appreciation post for my bestest friend in the world. Over 10 years and 7 of them married. Love you more than ever. Crazy little world isn’t it. Also it’s crazy how little photos we take now. Need more!!”

Dan and Jacqueline’s rocky history dates back to 2015, when Dan was accused of engaging in inappropriate behaviour with a well-known model. More accusations surfaced in later years, with claims of infidelity involving former Love Island contestant Gabby Allen. The rumours created tension in their marriage, but Jacqueline had maintained that she worked through the issues.

Jacqueline is said to have threatened to leave I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! when a co-star told her he believed that Dan had been unfaithful with the Love Island star. Instead, she was granted permission to leave for a few moments in order to send Dan a voicemail.
