Jake Quickenden revealed he suffered a painful injury resulting in limited movement in his neck. The 36-year-old star took to his Instagram Stories to share a video filmed from his bed, revealing to followers that he was forced to go to the hospital to received treatment because of the pain.
“Everyone asking about the neck,” he told followers. “This is the movement I’ve got. It’s facing this way [right] a lot which is annoying. I went to the hospital last night, the out of hours patients. They gave me some diazepam to relax the muscles and try to help me sleep. I’m a little bit better today but I do have an osteopath coming round to see what he can do. Just annoying, innit? “

Jake had a busy few months, with the star taking on work projects, running in the London Marathon, and meeting JoJo Siwa after Chris Hughes left the Celebrity Big Brother house.
Along with pictures of his baby, the marathon and a clip of him meeting Dance Moms star JoJo, he wrote on Instagram: “Just a few from last week….
“Ran a marathon, met JoJo Siwa, never thought I would say that, presented for this morning, spent time with great people, spent time with the family. Nothing really more you can ask for, life’s simple don’t complicate it, smile, be grateful and love hard. Happy bank holiday!”
Jake welcomed his baby boy with his wife Sophie earlier this month. The I’m A Celebrity star revealed they were expecting their second child back in July with a sweet video and gender reveal.
He announced their baby’s arrival by sharing the exciting news with his followers. Jake announced: “Welcome to world little one. Kit Quickenden 6lb 13oz. Born 08/01/25 – As a dad I just want to say Sophie was incredible, thank you for delivering Kit and being so amazing.”
The couple have been flooded with messages as Strictly Come Dancing’s Tasha Ghouri said: “Huge congratulations!!”
Daisy Wood David added: “Congratulations you guys!! Same birth weight as Ari he looks gorgeous xx.” Charlotte Dawson commented: “Congratulations guys, he’s so beautiful and Sophie you look insane!!!”
Jake and Sophie married in 2022 after four years of dating. They already have son Leo as well as Freddie, who is Sophie’s son from a previous relationship.
Announcing their pregnancy news in July, Jake said: “WE HAVE NEWS…. soon to be five. We can finally let you know after a long time trying we are gonna bring another bundle of joy into the world.
“We are super excited. Can’t wait to live off 2 hours sleep again. Have a lovely Sunday.”
