WARNING, EXPLICIT CONTENT: Popular football presenter Jeff Stelling once fell victim to a crude prank formulated by his sons, who succeeded in ribbing the former Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday host

Jeff Stelling promised to send back his sons’ Christmas presents after they brutally pranked him on Twitter.

The holiday season in 2022 coincided with the former Sky Sports’ Soccer Saturday host being subject to a calculated prank by his sons that played out for all of the internet to see.

The 69-year-old took to the social media platform X (formally known as Twitter) to post a picture of a tray filled with pigs in blankets – which, of course, is a popular Christmas side dish of sausages wrapped in bacon.

Alongside the image of the tasty treats, though, was a penis wrapped in bacon with Stelling’s cheerful caption which read: “Love cooking Xmas dinner, I always do it in the buff!”

It wasn’t long before the ‘Every Game Every Goal’ host realised the explicit nature of his post, which he promptly deleted and wrote what his plans for punishing his sons were: “My bloody sons. All their presents going back! All Robbie will get is a Darlo shirt and Matt a ticket to a Palace game. FFS!!”

Many saw the funny side to Stelling’s sons’ trickery, with former BBC presenter Simon McCoy writing: “Very naughty. But bloody funny… Happy Christmas x.”

Ex-Leeds and Everton striker Jermaine Beckford also weighed in with a single laughing crying face emoji that prompted Stelling responding with: “Kids mate !!!”

Having been married to wife Liz since 1998, the couple share three children with sons Robbie and Matthew being born in 1998 and 1999, and daughter Olivia who came along in 2003.

It was Stelling’s first two offspring who were behind the Christmas prank, with Robbie being threatened with being bought a shirt of Hartlepool’s rivals Darlington, while he warned Matt he would be gifted a ticket to watch Crystal Palace, due to his support of Brighton.

Since Stelling’s departure from Soccer Saturday last year, he’s joined Amazon Prime’s coverage of the Premier League. In news warming the hearts of football fans across the country, Chris Kamara will reunite with Stelling on Amazon this month, who will screen 10 top-flight games over Boxing Day and December 27.
