Rio and Kate Ferdinand have revealed they have moved to Dubai with their children for “a new chapter” and “a fresh start”
Eight years since they first started dating, Rio and Kate Ferdinand have announced they have relocated to Dubai.
The pair shared the news on Instagram with Kate calling it ‘a new chapter’ and a ‘fresh start.’ The mum admitted the family have been scared and nervous after discussing the move for some time, adding ‘but if we don’t try we’ll never know.’
The news was announced with photographs of their new life with their children, including snaps from a swimming pool in front of the Burj Khalifa building.
It’s the latest milestone for Rio and Kate who first got together a year after the death of the footballer’s wife Rebecca.
Rebecca tragically lost her battle with breast cancer in May 2015. Dad Rio went through hell after losing the beloved mother of his three children, but in his grief found support with The Only Way is Essex cast-member Kate.
The TOWIE favourite decided to give up her blossoming TV career to become step-mum to three as she moved into Rio’s family home.
After sharing the highs and lows of their blended family, Kate and Rio welcomed two new additions with children Cree and Shae.
