Just in time for wedding season, a fashion brand loved by the Duchess of Cambridge Ghost has launched a new line of elegant and versatile dresses for brides to bridesmaids to wedding guests – and you won’t need the royal bank account to get your hands on one.

The new Ghost collection boasts timeless staple pieces crafted for everlasting love, from sleek statement dresses to chic matching co-ords ideal for all bridal party members. With plush fabrics and sophisticated cuts, it’s astonishing that these pieces sell for a fraction of the cost of traditional bridal attire.

The brand is also a hit with The Princess of Wales, who has been seen donning Ghost outfits on multiple occasions – such as celebrating her 10th wedding anniversary with The Prince of Wales and during a surprise appearance on BBC One’s The Big Night In amidst lockdown.

Kate is a fan of outfit recycling, and Ghost’s latest release is unique in that these pieces, while perfect for a wedding, are also versatile enough to be worn again.

The line includes various styles and colours, perfect for traditional weddings on a budget or those breaking the norms and fancying something more colourful. You can peruse the whole collection here, but we’ve found our top picks that encapsulate the new range.

The Juliette Crepe Strapless Dress (£129) starts off the new line with a simplistic, understated, and timeless dress that boasts a midi length and strapless neckline with a figure-hugging cut. It is a beautifully minimalist bandeau slip dress that harks back to iconic styles from the 90s but feels completely contemporary, too. Crafted in the brand’s signature satin, this bias-cut midi style is elasticated at the bust for the ideal fit regardless of body shape. Super simple in design, it’s the perfect piece to dress up or down, taking you for special events or summer days out.

The River V Neck Button Satin Maxi Dress (£179) comes in a range of colours to best suit your aesthetic. A timeless option for brides and bridesmaids alike, this dress features covered buttons down the front for a vintage-inspired regal detail. Boasting a deep v-neck and practical wide straps, this dress also features an elegant bias-cut skirt with a front vent for ease of movement. This number is also made of the same satin for an elegant and timeless finish.

The Amaia Halter Neck Satin Maxi Dress (£179) is a more contemporary yet still understatedly sophisticated option that offers versatility beyond the wedding day. A satin maxi dress with more than a touch of old Hollywood glamour about it, this maxi features a halterneck neckline that ties into a bow at the back of the neck and a showstopping low back. This bias-cut dress is as alluring as it is elegant and comes in white or turquoise.

All options are available in sizes 8 to 20 to best suit any bride or bridesmaid. Also up for grabs from Ghost’s new collection is the Lillie Lace Trim Satin Dress for £99 or this Alora Crepe Midi Dress for £149.
