Former I’m A Celebrity winner Kerry Katona has seemingly confirmed her split with fiancé Ryan Mahoney, as she posted an empowered video on Instagram.
The Atomic Kitten star has been in a string of rocky relationships, with her most recent engagement ending after a “breach of trust” between her and 36-year-old fitness instructor Ryan. But Kerry seems to be taking it in her stride, sharing a video of her throwing her arms up and dancing to Adele’s Rolling In The Deep, miming the lyrics ‘we could have had it all’.
After revealing that Ryan has vacated her Cheshire home, the singer has been working on herself, announcing she’s been for therapy with This Morning counsellors The Speakmans. She shared the joyous video with her 842k Instagram followers, writing in the caption: “Would actually help if I even knew the words!! My kids hate the fact I’m such a morning person but it’s been awhile since I’ve woke up happy and in love with myself and knowing my self worth.
“Seriously I know not everybody is into therapy and it’s been a very very long time since I’ve sat down with @thespeakmans but I strongly suggest that EVERYBODY has some sort of therapy! I’ve been through so much trauma in my life from a very young age, especially in the last 10 years that I haven’t really dealt with and then to the fact I’ve been questioning my own personality! I’m actually a f*****g hoot!”
Kerry continued: “Yes I am completely bonkers but I’m loyal faithful and I would do anything for anybody and I love extremely hard. The main thing now is I need to love me even harder. There’s still a lot more work to do on myself and that is why I am so grateful to have @thespeakmans and to work on these schemes.”
She added: “Yesterday it was like being back at school and being taught about every trauma I have been through and my reactions to actions cannot wait for my next session @thespeakmans have a beautiful and blessed day everybody.” Later today, she posted while out for dinner with her daughter Heidi, 17.
Kerry admitted recently that her and Ryan had been going through a “tough time”, and in a statement reported by OK!, she announced that he had moved it. It read: “Last week I spoke about how Ryan and I were having a tough time and now he has moved out of the house. We are no longer together and it’s been a really tough week – I never in a million years thought this would happen. Without going into too much detail, there has been a breach of trust between us.
“I don’t know if we’ll be able to work it out or not, but I do still love him so much. I feel like everything has heaped on recently and it’s so much to deal with, I am really struggling. But I know I can get through it no matter what happens, I’ve been through break-ups before and come out the other side, so we just need to see what happens.”
