Kevin Spacey is working on a project in Phoenix and shared the news with his social media followers which comes a year after he was acquitted of sexual assault
Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey has shared that he has returned to acting after he was acquitted of sexual assault, last year.
The star, 65, who is reportedly “refusing to leave” his multi-million mansion after it was sold under foreclosure, posted a picture of himself on X. The House of Cards actor took the snap while on set of his project, which is said to be in Phoenix. He captioned the post: “A little beaten up but honored to be back on the horse. On location in Phoenix. @piersmogran.”
Kevin had been found not guilty on nine sexual assault charges at London’s Southwark Crown Court. In the post, Kevin can be seen sat on a horse in a pair of tanned coloured trousers teamed with a black coat. The project could be a western if his outfit is anything to go by. He completed his look with a hat and a red scarf, which was worn loosely around his neck.
Kevin tagged presenter Piers Morgan in his post after he appeared on his show, Piers Morgan Uncensored. The actor’s interview on the show went viral as he tearfully revealed that he didn’t have any money left and is being forced to sell his home. Minutes after his post was uploaded, fans rushed to the comment section.
One person said: “Horse! Stomp twice if you need us to call the police.” Another person penned: “glad to see you back king.” A third person added: “What a great photo. Excited for the project your working on.” A fourth person commented: “Looking forward to seeing your new work.”
His latest post comes a year after he revealed he was left “humbled” after being cleared of the charges. Sir Elton John attended court to give evidence in Kevin’s defence. The star was accused of abusing his power and fame to sexually assault four men during his time as artistic director at The Old Vic theatre. But he claimed the accusations were “madness” and then accused them of “lying for money.”
After he was cleared he addressed the waiting media. He said: “I imagine that many of you can understand that there’s a lot for me to process after what has just happened today. But I would like to say that I’m enormously grateful to the jury for having taken the time to examine all of the evidence and all of the facts, carefully, before they reached their decision.”
He continued: “I am humbled by the outcome today. I also want to thank the staff inside this courthouse, the security, my legal team and Evan Lowenstein for being here every day.” He had been ordered to pay $31million to House Of Cards production company MRC for alleged sexual misconduct, while on the set of the programme, according to Variety magazine.
