Kyle Walker’s wife Annie Kilner has been pictured back in the UK after visiting her footballer husband in Italy, where he is currently playing for AC Milan
Annie Kilner has returned to the UK after witnessing Kyle Walker make his AC Milan debut.
Her trip to mainland Europe comes after the Mirror exclusively revealed the pair have rekindled their relationship. Footballer Kyle, 34, is currently abroad after signing for AC Milan while he is on loan from Manchester City. Despite their previous marriage woes, it’s thought the couple – who share sons – Roman, 12, Riaan, eight, Reign, six and Rezon, nine months – are giving things another go after calling off their divorce proceedings last month following Kyle’s infidelities.
Showing off her recent ‘glow up’, Annie stunned in a double denim ensemble as she stepped out in jeans and matching jacket which she accessorised with a black top, black handbag and pointy black heels. The 33-year-old was all glammed up for a girls’ lunch at posh Mottram Hall spa hotel in aid of pal and Real Housewives of Cheshire star Tanya Bardsley’s Mental Mummies charity.
It’s thought that Annie and the kids will relocate to Italy too to be closer to Kyle and “keep the family together”. But reports that Kyle’s former mistress Lauryn Goodman, who is mum to his son Kairo, four, and one-year-old daughter Kinara, might also move to Italy are not said to gone down well.
However, a source told The Mirror: “The couple are still navigating their relationship behind the scenes but will always come together to be there for their children who they both absolutely adore. They enjoyed a family Christmas together and are looking ahead to the new year to see what may be on the horizon.”
After filing divorce papers, Annie was in line to get half of Kyle’s £27 million fortune, but the pair – who were childhood sweethearts having met as teenagers in their hometown of Sheffield and married in 2022 after 12 years together – called it off at the last minute.
Sources close to the couple say that any speculation that Annie is staying with Kyle for his finances are “nonsense.” While Annie married Kyle for love, it’s reported she also had to do it to “secure a financial windfall for herself and their children” as she would be better protected once they tied the knot.
Annie and Kyle attempted to give their marriage another go following a brief separation when the defender moved out of their Prestbury home last year after he was revealed to have fathered another child with influencer Lauryn. He later acknowledged his wrongdoing, stating he made a “horrible” mistake before adding: “I take full responsibility.”
Speaking in October last year, a source told MailOnline: “She [Annie] is divorcing Kyle because she just can’t forgive him for what he’s done to her. She can’t get over it. She has tried. Kyle seems to have accepted it’s over. He’s been happier in the last week or so. Like the weight of the world’s been lifted from his shoulders.” But things could be looking up for the couple now the dust has settled…
