The discounted mop can be used on all hard floors and has useful LED lights
Lakeland has reduced the price of its ‘powerful’ floor mop in time for spring cleaning that will ‘leave all of your hard floors sparkling’. The TurboClean Floor Cleaner usually retails for £129.99, however it can now be yours for £99.99.
The TurboClean is a cheaper alternative to the best-selling Shark Steam Mop, which retails for £159.99, with both designed to be used on all hard floors. The Lakeland gadget has two different speeds for wood and tiled floors, allowing you to sweep, clean, polish and buff.
The cordless mop offers a long run time and a fast charge, and has an LED control panel that Lakeland says is ‘easy to use’. The gadget also has LED lights that lets you see the floor clearly, ensuring you don’t miss any stains, leaving a spotless finish.

The floor cleaner has a 300ml water tank and a quiet 65db noise level, a particularly handy feature if you need to clean up late at night or early in the morning and don’t want to disturb the rest of your household or neighbours. One impressed Lakeland customer awarded the TurboClean Floor Cleaner five stars and said: “The product cleans well, the battery lasts a good time and doesn’t take too long to charge. The spray is very useful for stubborn marks.
“I’ve had it for two weeks and have used it a few times and I am very pleased with it. A lot easier than a mop and bucket and because it’s cordless there is no wire to get in the way as with my steam cleaner.”
Unfortunately one shopper was left unimpressed, as they explained: “Disappointed. The machine leaves streaks. I have tried it numerous times adjusting the quantity of water and limiting the amount of spray but the floor never looks clean.”
However, a glowing five-star review reads: “Love this floor cleaner. Easy to operate, lightweight, cleans very well and doesn’t leave the floor soaking wet. The battery lasts well and charges quickly. Just the right size to store away in the cupboard with the vacuum. So pleased I decided to purchase this.”
