Lauryn Goodman has shared her four-year-old son Kairo’s bedtime routine, which has a heartbreaking connection to the youngster’s estranged dad Kyle Walker
Lauryn Goodman has revealed her son Kairo tries to stay connected to his estranged dad Kyle Walker with his sad nightly routine.
Speaking on her new podcast project, Yours Sincerely with co-host Lisa Andrews, Lauryn hit back at claims that Kyle had only met his son four times. Earlier this year, the Central Family Court in London heard that the England footballer had seen Kairo four times and his daughter Kinara once.
Opening up on her son’s relationship with his dad, Lauryn revealed: “Kairo he asks questions. I put up little snippets on my Instagram because I want people to understand that my child hasn’t formed a bond with somebody after meeting them four times.”
“It’s ridiculous,” she quipped. “He takes a Euro England to bed with him, with his dad on there and he’ll put it in his drawer on his bedside table and he’ll get him out, cuddle him and then put him back in his drawer – how sad is that?
“These are the lengths he’s going to. If I could remove that stick from his drawer and hide it and get away with it, I would. I don’t want to upset my child further and make an issue out of something.”
Lauryn has been embroiled in a toxic paternity row with Kyle and his estranged wife Annie Kilner after the reality star revealed the footballer is the father of her daughter. Kyle previously fathered his son with Lauryn while on a break from his relationship with childhood sweetheart Annie.
The reality star recently shared the damning text message she sent to Annie, revealing the footballer was the father of her daughter. It read: “Hey it’s Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter. He’s been having a relationship with us all including the baby & I’ve got everything to prove it. He’s been apart of our lives seeing the children [sic].
“I wanted to have the decency to tell you. If you want to speak further we can but he’s been lying to us both. He doesn’t want us to speak. He’ll gaslight you saying why hasn’t she put it out there knowing we have a legal agreement atm. He’ll probably say I’m a nutter or obsessed to get you to believe him. All his boys have known from the start, so don’t trust them. I’m sorry.
“I’ve got to protect myself legally if you need to speak again to see evidence etc unblock me on insta so I know to call you. Or [redacted] could always show you in person. This isn’t a prank or joke. Think back to all your messages. Your messages in March with him, how weird he was acting before the World Cup.”
Explaining why she decided to post the message, Lauryn told her followers: “For months I have seen the media publish one single, blunt sounding line stating that it is the message I sent to Annie. This wasn’t given to them by me and it it only the beginning of a much longer message that I sent. I have seen it claimed so many times now that this is what I sent her, that I would like to show you all what I actually sent.”
