Stacey Solomon, who won a National Television Award for the BBC’s Sort Your Life Out last week, has just announced that she’s now stepping back from a different project

TV presenter Stacey Solomon has revealed she’s taking a step back from some work commitments to focus on her family, after reportedly raking in up to £3 million last year.

It was announced earlier this week that Stacey, 34, that she’s stepping back from her role with retailer InTheStyle in a bid to spend more time with her family. She’s released several collections with the fashion brand over the years since having first collaborated on her debut range in 2022.

InTheStyle is just one of the brands that Stacey has worked with other the years. She’s become a household name through her presenting roles after having rose to fame as a contestant on the X Factor in 2009. She’s a panelist on Loose Women and fronts Sort Your Life Out, which just won a National Television Award for Factual Entertainment.

She’s also collaborated with brands like George at Asda and Primark, and earlier this year the TV star was named as an ambassador for Dulux. Stacey has shared various sponsored posts on Instagram and is also a business partner of haircare brand REHAB. Her other projects include books like Tap to Tidy at Pickle Cottage, released in 2022.

It was reported earlier this year that Stacey raked in as much as £3 million last year, which equates to around £58,000 a week. It was stated in March that she’s sitting on cash and assets of £4.3 million for the year to the end of June 2023 – up from £2.9 million in 2022.

Annual accounts for her firm Key Map Entertainments Ltd filed that month, as reported at the time, showed she added an £800,000 investment taking its value to £2.2 million. She runs a firm to take in cash from her TV work, ad tie-ins and media appearances. It was reported at the time that Companies House records revealed that she had £607,490 to pay within a year, seemingly representing her Corporation Tax, which would mean that her income was around five times that figure.

It was reported that same month that, last year, Stacey had her “most successful year” since setting up her company in 2012 and it was stated that, according to the Sun, she earned £1,410,656 through the firm during 2023. The outlet is said to have also reported that the company had assets increased by almost £2 million to £7 million.

Announcing her decision to step back from working with InTheStyle this month, Stacey wrote in a post on Wednesday: “Today has been a wonderful but emotional day as I shot my LAST EVER collection for InTheStyle.

“I have loved every single second of being able to design & create clothing with the most incredible team & literally bring my dreams to life. Throughout this year I’ve thought a lot about work/family balance & things that have needed to be prioritised. So I’ve decided to say goodbye to InTheStyle and other things so that I can give more of myself back to my family.”

She’s married to Joe Swash, 42, and the couple are parents to Rex, five, Rose, two, and Belle, one, together. Their family also includes Stacey’s kids Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 12, as well as Joe’s son Harry, 17, from previous relationships.
