Lewis Hamilton is getting ready to embark on his debut season with Ferrari after leaving Mercedes but he could also be reunited with a colleague that he claims has been key to his success
Lewis Hamilton has sent Formula One fans crazy amid rumours of a potential reunion with a crucial Mercedes colleague.
The seven-time world champion is set to embark on his first campaign with Ferrari next term following his blockbuster move from Mercedes. Hamilton will certainly be aiming to add to the titles he has won during his time with the Italian constructors.
But he will have to do that without a number of key personnel that helped him with Mercedes. However, it appears that a potential reunion with former physiotherapist and confidant Angela Cullen could be on the cards.
Ahead of the 2025 F1 season getting underway, Hamilton is enjoying a bit of time away skiing as part of his 40th birthday celebrations. Cullen has also been spotted on the slopes, with her attire getting fans talking.
She boasted a red coat – some suggesting that it was inspired by the Ferrari colours. Cullen currently works alongside Marcus Armstrong in IndyCar, while there has been no official talk of a move back into F1.
Despite that, Hamilton would certainly be up for a reunion having been full of praise for Cullen’s work. Speaking after their split, he said: “People for sure won’t understand it, naturally, because they see it from a distance, but she has been one of the greatest things that’s happened to me in my life.
“I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of people… and she’s the single hardest-working woman that I get to be around. She’s focused, selfless, and she makes my weekends peaceful. Every day I wake up, whatever time it is, she’s just positive – never a single day has she been negative, so that’s very, very important.

“I think it’s important in life to put positive people around you. You can’t be going around with deadweights, you can’t be going around with people who don’t inspire you to be better and lift you up when you’re down. You need to be around people who can do that for you, and she’s one of them.”
Despite Cullen’s split with Hamilton, she is still keeping a close eye on his career. She sent a heartfelt message to him after he secured yet another victory at the British GP. Writing on Instagram, she said: “Biggest congrats .. epic win !!
“Lewis, Bono and the entire MB team. Enjoy this special moment. So deserved. One of life’s greatest pleasures is having the courage to fulfil your greatest potential. So inspiring @lewishamilton.”
