Band member Liam Gallagher has addressed speculation over the set list for the Oasis reunion tour. The singer-songwriter will take to the stage with his brother Noel Gallagher for the first time in more than a decade over the summer.

Liam, 52, and Noel, 57, will perform at venues in the UK and Ireland later this year as part of the Oasis Live ’25 Tour. Ahead of the tour’s opening night in July, there has been excitement over the potential songs that the band could perform.

In recent weeks, Liam has addressed questions about the set list on X. It’s included telling his followers that Rock ‘N’ Roll Star is “getting played” and that Oasis will be “doing” Hey Now, though he previously said that wasn’t the case.

Last week, he was met with disappointment after telling fans that Acquiesce wasn’t on the set list for gigs in Manchester. The song was originally released as the B-side to Oasis’ chart-topping single Some Might Say back in 1995.

A fan asked him on the platform: “You gonna sing Acquiesce with Noel at the Heaton park gigs for us Liam?” Liam responded by writing: “That’s not on the list sorry.”

One person reacted: “You can’t do this to us.” Another said: “No way. Wtf Liam. Tgats one of the best oasis songs.” A third said: “You pair simply have to sign acquiesce, it wouldn’t be right getting back together and not signing that together.” Someone else teased: “Oh my people are gonna cry!”

Earlier this month, Liam addressed speculation that Hello won’t be performed on the reunion tour. There have been reports that the song isn’t being included on the set list due to its connection to convicted paedophile Gary Glitter.

As previously reported, Hello is the opening track from Oasis’ album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? and includes lyrics from the disgraced singer’s 1973 song Hello, I’m Back Again as well as featuring the melody of the original song.

One fan shared a screengrab from an article about the speculation earlier this month and asked: “Is it true Liam?” Liam responded by telling them at the time: “We’ll be playing HELLO trust me.”

More recently, Liam was asked last week if the set list for the tour can be “tweaked if necessary”. He commented: “Of course and I’m sure it will were very flexible.”

He previously said that the set list was finished and that Hey Now wasn’t included, though he’s since said otherwise. He wrote on May 12: “The setlist is done and I’m afraid it didn’t make it now don’t take it personally and call me hurty names as it’s not my fault we can’t play them all.”

Earlier this year, Liam appeared to suggest that none of his solo songs will be included. He was asked by a fan: “Which solo song of yours would you include in the oasis live setlist if you could?” He teased in his response: “None.”
