Lily Allen has shared an update on her life with fans following the reports in recent weeks that she has separated from her husband, Stranger Things actor David Harbour
Singer-songwriter Lily Allen posted about a “depressing” day at the start of the new year this week following reports that she’s separated from her husband David Harbour.
It was reported last month that Lily, 39, had split from actor David, 49, after four years of marriage. It has since been claimed that David “broke up” with her a month ago and that they had been meant to spent Christmas together.
Neither Lily nor David have yet to publicly comment on the speculation, but she has shared an update on her life with fans this week. She shared two photos of herself modelling an outfit in a mirror selfie on Instagram and wrote: “Bitta retail therapy. for the most depressing Monday of the year.”
Lily didn’t appear to be sporting her wedding ring in the photos shared on Monday. It comes after she attracted attention just a few weeks ago over being spotted without her ring in a clip from her podcast Miss Me? in a post.
The Brit Award winner was seen wearing a black jacket and a co-ordinated skirt in the photos shared this week. The jacket appeared to have ‘London’ on the front in white lettering. Lily also showcased her red hair in the selfies.
The post amassed more than 5,000 likes within the first of 30 minutes of it being uploaded to the platform on Monday evening. Some of Lily’s followers shared support towards her in the comments section of the post on Instagram.
One fan reacted: “We love you Lily. You got this.” Another commented: “Serving.” Someone else wrote: “It suits you.” Whilst a fourth follower said: “Hope you feel better.” Sharing their thoughts, another person wrote to her: “Looking great.”
Someone else responded to Lily: “Looks pretty cool. Nice new barnet too.” Another fan commented: “Hope you’re okay.” Whilst one person wrote: “Sending lots of love to you.” And another follower said in their reply to the recent post: “Loving the hair. Sending you positive thoughts and vibes.”
