Chocolatiers over at Lindt have confirmed one of its most popular limited-edition bars which flew off shelves in just five days is set for a glorious comeback – but the hefty price tag hasn’t dropped

Chocolate lovers rejoice, as Lindt & Sprüngli confirms it’s bringing back one of its most insatiably popular chocolate bars. Despite its hefty £10 price tag, shoppers couldn’t stop themselves from rushing to get their hands on the Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate bar – which features milk chocolate, pistachio, and crunchy Kadayif pastry.

The limited-edition bar, inspired by the TikTok famous ‘Dubai Chocolate’, sold out in just five days when it launched in December last year. Fans have even started selling the rare bar on eBay, with one listing set at a staggering £72.48. However, Brits don’t need to spend such a fortune to try the bar this time – as it is launching once again in a slew of retailers. The bar is only available ‘while stocks last’ so you may still need to act quickly…

Lindt’s Dubai Chocolate – where to buy

On Wednesday, March 19, the Dubai chocolate will be available in Lindt stores and online, as well as at Sainsbury’s and Ocado nationwide. On March 31, the bar will also be introduced to Waitrose stores across the UK.

The Mirror can also confirm that Lindt will be selling exclusive Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate products at its brand-new flagship store in London’s Piccadilly Circus, which officially opens its doors this Friday (March 21) at 2pm. The two exclusives include a Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate Praline Box and a smaller snack-sized 40g Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate bar.

In a statement sent to the Mirror, Lindt Master Chocolatier Stefan Bruderer said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing back our Lindt Dubai Style Chocolate bar to the UK, with exclusive lines in our brand-new London flagship store. We know how much our consumers enjoyed this chocolate bar when we first launched and how much demand there was, so it’s an honour to make it more widely available this time around!”

Last year, swathes of determined fans queued hours in the pouring rain to get a chance to try the Dubai Chocolate – which has now been replicated by a slew of brands, including Morrisons. One customer admitted to travelling over 4,000 miles to get to a Lindt shop in Germany, which only had 100 bars on offer. Hopefully, he managed to get at least one!
