Exclusive:

Model Lottie Moss says she’s starting a ‘new chapter’ in her life and will be shutting down her OnlyFans account – as she currently stars in gruelling reality show Celebrity Bear Hunt

Lottie Moss may be best known for her glossy photoshoots, but as we discover in an exclusive interview, the model – who is the half-sister of Kate Moss – has many more layers to her. The Celebs Go Dating star, who started making content for adults-only subscription site OnlyFans in 2021, announced a year ago, following stints in rehab for drug addiction and depression, that she was getting sober and wanted to “get back into the swing of work”.

Fast forward 12 months, and she’s done just that. Admitting she’s in a “new chapter” of her life now and happier than ever, Lottie, 27, reveals why she’s closing the door on OnlyFans (“although it will always be a part of me”), lifts the lid on heading into the Costa Rican jungle for daredevil Netflix show Celebrity Bear Hunt and opens up about whether she has someone special in her life…

Hi, Lottie! How are you?
I’m the happiest I’ve ever been right now. I believe the universe has a plan for me, that I’m on the right trajectory. Before, when I was going through a lot of stuff, I just felt stuck, like I wasn’t growing. It’s like I’ve suddenly taken on board all my life lessons. I understand why I am where I am.

Are you doing much on your OnlyFans account?

Actually, I’m quitting! I’m moving onto the next chapter of my life. I had a great time. Women in the sex industry should not be underestimated. There’s a lot of amazing, powerful, cool women there. Some girls in that industry made me feel so comfortable with who I am. It’ll always be a part of me and I’ll always be really thankful, but it’s the end of that now. I want to move on to something more entrepreneurial.

Is there any time for dating right now?

It’s definitely not a priority. I came out of a relationship late last year and I want to take some time for myself. When I was younger, I’d seek a lot of validation from relationships, but now I feel validated by myself. I’m in a bubble with my family, friends and career, I don’t want anyone to ruin it.

You’ve spoken about thelabelof being Kate Moss’ sister, how do you feel now?

When I started modelling, I carried it quite heavily. Now I’m just known as me – it doesn’t follow me around so much. I grew up going to LA and spending time with people who had famous parents, and it’s funny – people think you have to be like that person. You can be different from your siblings, and me and my sister are so different.

You’ve had an amazing career so far. Any regrets?
No, I’ve definitely made mistakes, but I understand why those experiences happened. When I quit modelling and started OnlyFans, there were moments where I thought, ‘I’ve ruined my career, no one’s going to work with me again.’ I’d been told from a young age that I shouldn’t speak openly. But I’m glad I stuck with my gut and did the modelling, OnlyFans and spoke about my struggles. I wouldn’t have my podcast otherwise, and I wouldn’t have got to do Celebrity Bear Hunt.

What was it like on the show?
It’s tough. You’re in a secluded place, sleeping with strangers, without your family, friends or phone – it’s intense. You have a lot of time to think. When I wasn’t chatting to the others, I was just by myself thinking about things. Living in this generation where we’ve always got our phones and in a city like London, there’s always something going on. There, it was calm and serene.

What made you say yes to such an extreme show?
I’ve always wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone and show people a different side of me. I’ve done Celebs Go Dating, which was great but it made me feel very vulnerable. This was perfect because I wanted something adventurous.

Which celebritysurprised youthe most in camp?
Probably Boris [Becker]. He went from winning Wimbledon to jail, he’s had so many highs and lows. He’s a lovely person who became the real father of the group, and Shirley [Ballas] the mum! They were so sweet.

Who did you bond with most?
Una [Healy]. Her energy was amazing. She always gave everything 110%, I don’t think people expected that from her. She’s a sweetheart but when she gets stuck into a challenge she’s a force to be reckoned with.

You were underestimated early on, is that something you’re familiar with?
Definitely, and I did feel that in there. I think people thought that because I’ve had cosmetic surgery and done modelling, I wouldn’t be up for getting stuck in. But I’m quite competitive.

Whatwas thescariestmomentfor you?
The first challenge, crossing this 200ft-high bridge with missing slats was f*****g terrifying!

You seemed very comfortable talking about your addictionand depression on the show
When I started modelling I was seen as this perfect English rose, but behind the scenes it wasn’t all that. There was a lot of stuff going on and it was a rough few years. I’ve talked a lot about it on my podcast [Dream On With Lottie Moss] – I want others to know they’re not alone.

What’s next on your list?
More podcasting, more challenging TV shows and a chat show like Drew Barrymore’s!

Celebrity Bear Hunt is available to stream on Netflix from Wednesday
