Love Islander Ciaran Davies is currently coupled up with Nicole Samuel on the reality dating series, but his ex-girlfriend has now been revealed – and he once got a secret tattoo for her.

After meeting in the Love Island villa once a month ago, Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel are coupled up – but his ex-girlfriend, and the news of the secret tattoo he got for her, have since resurfaced.

The 21-year-old may now be facing trouble in paradise, though. Not only over the comments he made during the arrival of Casa Amor’s Ellie Jackson, but for appearing to hide a tattoo with the name of his previous girlfriend. It seems that the Welsh rugby player dated Gloucester-based student Evie-May Bishop. The TikToker shared online that her ex-boyfriend even has her name allegedly inked on him.

In a clip she posted on the video-sharing platform, Evie-May alleged that Ciaran has a tattoo which reads “Evie-May”. The tattoo appeared to sit on his collarbone beneath his neck. However, the tattoo doesn’t appear to be visible any longer on the contestant. Ciaran has worn V-neck T-shirts without the tattoo being spotted on the reality series.

A source previously told The Sun that the former exes “were together for under a year in 2022”. The outlet added: “After he briefly dated a 42-year-old.

A source previously told The Sun that the former exes “were together for under a year in 2022”. The outlet added: “After he briefly dated a 42-year-old. They met each other’s families and went on a luxury holiday to Rhodes, as well as race days together,” the source continued. “Unfortunately, they split because of the distance.”

Evie May is studying at university, while she works part-time with horses. Meanwhile, Ciaran has a full-time surveyor role and weekend rugby practice. “It was just so hard for them to maintain a relationship.” On Monday’s episode, viewers saw Ellie entering the series. Ciaran realised he knew the bombshell, but wasn’t sure whether the pair had slept together.

“I think I slid into her DMs. I don’t think she’s one of the 120,” he boasted. Ellie also confessed that the pair had met in the past. The two villas went head-to-head in the raunchy races game, with Ciaran appearing to kiss Lucy during one round. Nicole was spotted reading a text confirming that the main villa had won, and asked: “Who the f**k is Lucy?”

The sneak peak for the episode saw the youngest lad in the villa being asked to smooch the woman he is most attracted to. He then locked lips with Emma Milton, with the teams learning that Ciaran had won the race. Angered by the text message revealing the news, Nicole asked the group: “Why does he fancy Emma so much then?” But fans will have to wait and see what the aftermath is from the kiss, as Love Island continues.

Love Island continues weeknights on ITV2 from 9pm.
