Love Island: All Stars’ Olivia Hawkins has blamed her flirty chat with Luca Bish for getting herself voted out of the villa alongside Marcel Somerville on Wednesday night

Love Island: All Stars’ Olivia Hawkins has pointed the finger at Luca Bish for her unexpected exit from the villa.

Olivia, 29, and Marcel Somerville, 39, were voted off by viewers as the least compatible couple on Wednesday night, alongside Ronnie Vint and Elma Pazar, and Nas Majeed and Catherine Agbaje.

The shocking twist left the villa in tears, but Marcel and his ex Gabby Allen expressed relief over mending their relationship after a bitter break up in 2018. Olivia, however, wasn’t taken aback by her eviction, attributing it to the tension between her and Luca, especially their surprising conversation during Tuesday’s episode.

In her post-villa interview, the brunette confessed: “When our names got called I actually wasn’t that surprised, I did think after the whole chat with Luca that it was a possibility. I think all three couples in the bottom deserved to be there and I just believe that whatever happens, happens and if it was my time to go then it was my time to go.”

Despite being coupled with Marcel, and Luca setting his sights on new arrival Grace Jackson, the pair have had several “intense” conversations with plenty of eye contact. After sharing a kiss in a challenge, Olivia and Luca discussed the possibility of moving beyond “the friend zone”.

Luca commented: “Cheers for putting me in the friend zone. I just want that in the distant memory now.”

Olivia advised him to “go for what he wants’ as “you’re only here once,” and he retorted: “Do you think you went for what you wanted? Or do you think there were others in here that you would have wanted to get to know.”

“When I came in you were the top one and then Marcel,” Olivia confessed, before suggesting to Luca that he “doesn’t think he’s explored things enough”.

She playfully asked: “How would you know if you haven’t tried?” and then complimented his eyes. Luca responded: “I think I’m gonna cut that friend zone banner up now.”

Rumours of their chemistry quickly circulated around the villa, with even some of the other Islanders sensing “something being there” between them. However, any speculation was quashed in last night’s episode when both Olivia and Luca confirmed they wanted to stay in their current couples.

Addressing the confusion with Luca, Olivia clarified: “Yeah, we live in the same area and we were friends before and it was just that was probably the one person I didn’t want to fall out with. But we left on a really nice note. I’m really excited to see his journey with Grace.”

Despite the drama, Olivia enthused that she “came and got what she wanted” with Marcel, who she described as “so sweet”.

When asked about their relationship, she said: “Yeah really good, he’s so sweet, it’s still really early days. It’s nice that we’re out now and we can get back home and give each other our numbers and start texting and dating.”
