The Runnymede on Thames Hotel in Egham, Surrey, has unveiled an array of spa and wellness breaks for 2025 and they look gorgeous!

The Runnymede on Thames, an adults-only hotel beautifully situated along the River Thames, has unveiled a range of spa and wellness breaks for 2025. This picturesque waterside retreat in Egham reopened last October under the Warner Hotels umbrella following a multi-million pound refurbishment.

The tranquil packages, launched just in time for Mother’s Day (March 30), are designed to lift the mood and invigorate the senses. Available for one, two, or three-night stays, these mini breaks offer a variety of indulgent restorative treatments aimed at banishing the winter blues and leaving guests feeling refreshed and revitalised.

Each wellness break includes full access to the hotel’s spa and leisure facilities, which include a whirlpool bath, sauna, steam room, infra-red cabin and comfortable reclining loungers. There is also a range of fitness classes available, including aqua aerobics, yoga and dance sessions.

During the summer months, guests can cool off in the outdoor pool next to the loch and enjoy drinks and snacks from the pool bar.

Guests at the Runnymede on Thames can immerse themselves in a variety of tranquil wellness experiences and outdoor activities, including archery and laser-clay shooting, or play tennis like a pro on one of the two courts. The hotel, a haven of relaxation, is enveloped by nature with the Runnymede Pleasure Grounds and National Trust sites just a stroll away along the towpath, reports Surrey Live.

Inside, indulge in luxury facials, massages, and manicures in the treatment rooms, or savour the culinary delights of Brasserie32 and Market Kitchen with views over the Thames. The revamped hotel also boasts a new entertainment stage featuring live shows, all included in the stay.

Caroline Cromar from Warner Hotels said: “At Warner Hotels, we recognise the need to escape and de-stress from everyday life, especially during the winter months. The Runnymede on Thames has curated a series of rejuvenating getaways for guests to experience the ultimate relaxation in 2025.”

She added, “Whether it’s a short escape to enjoy with friends or an equally blissful solo retreat, we’ve designed options to give guests the flexibility to choose a joyous break tailored exactly to their needs.”

Guests can unwind in various areas of the spa, from poolside sunbeds to cosy sofas in the garden room that opens onto a tranquil river bank. The spa is spacious and modern, with beautiful plants scattered around creating a serene and natural ambiance.

The pool area, changing rooms, corridors, and treatment rooms are all wonderfully warm – perfect for colder days. There are water stations and a bowl of fruit at the reception desk for guests to enjoy a refreshing, healthy snack.

Fresh towels are provided upon arrival, and there are saunas in each of the changing rooms as well as by the pool. Lockers operate on a code system, eliminating the need for coins or keys, and the changing rooms are regularly cleaned to maintain their pristine condition.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in the pool area let in an abundance of light, and guests have the choice between a small and large pool. Guests can stroll down from their rooms in dressing gowns and flip flops for the ultimate relaxation experience.
