Made In Chelsea star Tiffany Watson is set to expand her family as she announces she’s expecting her second child with her husband Cameron McGeehan
Reality star Tiffany Watson has announced the exciting news that she is pregnant with her second child.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 31, is already a proud mum to her son Jude, who was born in June 2023. In an exclusive chat with the Mirror, Tiffany revealed she and Cameron were trying for a second child and shared her excitement over expanding her family.
Tiffany is in the second trimester of her pregnancy and found out she was expecting again in October. Looking back on finding out, Tiffany joked: “My period was late so I peed on stick, ran down and told my husband.”
The soon-to-be mum-of-two said she and her professional footballer husband Cameron, 29, “definitely wanted another one” and were “actively trying” to expand their family. Tiffany also said she has explained as much as she can to her one and a half year old son, Jude. Tiffany revealed: “We do say [to Jude about the pregnancy] he can say the word baby and he quite often will lift my jumper up and stroke my stomach up and kiss it. But, I don’t know if he knows.”
Although the tot may not be fully aware, Tiffany revealed she thinks Jude will make a great big brother. “I think he will love it,” she said. “Our neighbours have got a six month old and he loves when she comes over. But, let’s see how it goes.”
Excited Tiffany and her husband Cameron have already found out the gender of their second child, but are keeping the news hush-hush until they feel the time is right. When asked if they’ve know if they’re having a boy or girl Tiffany explained: “We found out. I’m not going to tell you because we are going to announce it on Instagram at some point, but we found out on Christmas Day with all our family which was lovely.”
After finding out the gender of their baby, the couple were able to pick out a name – which they’re also keeping under their hats – but it wasn’t an easy thing to agree between herself and hubby Cameron. “I was so bang on going through lists of names and my mum everyday sent me ridiculous names and Cameron was like, ‘you’re just forcing this you need to stop’,” she said in our chat, in association with Clearblue.
“But we weren’t agreeing on any. He had two names he loved and I didn’t like them and I had two I love and he didn’t like them. Then, once we found out the gender that made it easier in terms of, like, we could just focus on one side.”
“But, we have found a name,” Tiffany revealed. “We decided it on the 1st of Jan. Hopefully we stick with it but we both like it and we don’t change our minds but we don’t agree on much! I feel like we have to stick with this one because we don’t seem to have similar tastes.”
Before sharing the happy news with her fans, Tiffany did reveal her pregnancy to her family and friends. And when she told her sister, fellow MIC star Lucy Watson, Lucy revealed she had a strange dream the night before.
Tiffany explained: “I told her on my birthday and she said… well she knew that I wanted another one so she wasn’t like ‘oh my god’ super surprised. But, she said: ‘I actually had a dream last night that you told me you were pregnant’ she said, ‘that’s so weird’.
“But yeah she’s just super happy and she wasn’t completely shocked or anything, so she’s really excited.” Tiffany revealed she has also told close friends around her, too.
But before spilling the news, the star felt lonely as many new mums feel. Tiffany revealed: “I don’t know if a lot of people who have had two babies will agree but the second time I showed so much quicker so it was really hard to hide it. Honestly, as soon as I did that pregnancy test I felt like I had a bump and it was really hard to hide that so we told really close family members before 12 weeks and we waited until after 12 weeks to tell everyone else but it was really hard. I felt like I was saying no to social things with my friends and going to things and panicking about how I was gonna say I wasn’t drinking without giving it away. So it is really isolating and difficult.”
