Police investigating the prime suspect in the Madeleine McCann case discovered eight key finds at Christian Brueckner’s sick lair filled with paedophilic memorabilia and chilling images. Brueckner bought an abandoned factory for around £20,000 in 2008, a year after Maddie’s disappearance.

Police launched a full blown search of the property in Neuwegersleben, central Germany, back in 2016 – but the shocking discoveries have only recently been made public in a bombshell new documentary. The disturbing finds include things the police have worked hard to keep out of the public eye. Brueckner’s factory came to the attention of police in 2016 after a dog ran in and appeared to find a grave.

Local cops then discovered Brueckner’s dead dog – but underneath was a wallet with six USB sticks and two memory cards. The shocking contents of those USB sticks led police to launch a full investigation into the paedo’s lair, The Sun reports.

Cops found three illegal guns and bullets inside his creepy property. These weapons were unregistered and unlicensed.

Creepy mask

Brueckner had also kept a creepy mask along with chilling mocked-up pictures of himself. Police came across hundreds of disturbing images and some of these were of the suspect modelling a mask while others reportedly saw him posing naked just 35 miles away from the spot where Madeleine went missing in Portugal.

Children’s clothes

Police made a truly disgusting discovery when they came across little kids’ clothes at his lair. Some 75 swimming costumes for young children were part of Brueckner’s shocking haul.

Children’s toys

The paedophile had even more disturbing items for kids inside his chilling property. Along with the swimming costumes, Brueckner also kept children’s toys and small bikes.

Brueckner’s

The most significant find is believed to be a hard drive in Brueckner’s possession. Police have confiscated the hard drive and a laptop belonging to the paedo, but they have remained tight-lipped about the contents

This hard drive is believed to be filled with disturbing images. These images were reportedly taken when Brueckner was in Portugal around the times of Maddie’s disappearance.

Suitcase filled with pictures of children

The haul included a metal suitcase filled with photos of young girls aged just four to five years old. Police also discovered a document of phone numbers inside the property as well as an address book nearby.

Chemicals

Bottles of substances and chemicals were also found, but cops destroyed these without testing them to see what they were. Police have reportedly since theorised they could have contained chloroform or ether – which can be used to make people unconscious and pass out. Brueckner wrote about using dangerous chemicals to snatch people in twisted kidnapping stories, also found in the search.

Jaguar car

Police discovered a Jaguar that matched the description of Brueckner’s car in Germany at the home. The old car appeared to now be covered in dust and dirt. It was not clear how long it had been left at the property.
