The striking pink jug is part of the newest summer collection launched by the store – and shoppers are in love
Matalan shoppers believe they have found the “perfect” addition to their spring and summer garden parties. Many have said they “absolutely love” this quirky item, which will surely be a conversation starter this season.
The £14 Pink Flamingo Jug is part of Matalan’s new summer collection, which also includes a matching £4.50 Stem Cup. The jug is said to add “a splash of tropical fun” to any party.
It makes the “perfect centrepiece for summer gatherings”, the store says, with its vibrant pink flamingo design. Matalan bosses added: “This jug brings a joyful, beachy vibe to your refreshments, whether you’re serving up fruity punches, iced teas, or chilled lemonade.”
A Matalan shopper spotted the ‘funky’ jug and shared it on the Dansway Gifts and Bargains Facebook page. They wrote: “Fabulous way to pour drinks during the summer months.”
Plenty of other shoppers piled in with comments after seeing the item. One said: “I mean how cute [is this] for homemade strawberry daiquiris!” Another added: “Love this for a cocktail jug in the garden in summer!”
A third commented: “I need this jug in my kitchen!” Someone else wrote: “I can see this full of cocktails in the back garden!”
And, a fifth put: “I need the whole set and I need it right now!” There was another who put: “I need this in my life, absolutely love it!”
But, not every shopper was convinced to buy this. One claimed: “That will be in the charity bag by September!” And, another posted: “It’s giving live, laugh, love!”
