Sporty Spice Mel C lived up to her nickname as she rocked a mini skirt and crop top while hitting the DJ decks after being given a Grand Prix tour by bandmate Geri Horner’s husband Christian

Mel C looked incredible as she continued to live up to her Sport Spice name while hitting the DJ decks.

The Spice Girls icon, 51, partied the night away after spending some time with her former bandmate Geri Halliwelll-Horner’s husband Christian. They have both headed Down Under for the Grand Prix as Red Bull CEO Christian gave Mel and her Aussie boyfriend Chris Dingwall a tour around the paddock ahead of the first Formula One race of the season.

Mel caught up with Geri’s husband on the grid in Melbourne as they posed for a photo in front of four-time world champion Max Verstappen’s car. However, Geri did not join the trio in Australia as she opted for the Cheltenham Festival instead. After a day on the race track, Mel hit the DJ decks as she performed at the Don Julio after race party.

She showed off her ageless beauty as she rocked a black and white crop top with matching mini skirt under a navy pinstripe blazer. The music star added a pair of white trainers and kept her long dark blonde locks straight and framing her face. Mel went for a natural makeup palette with a pink matte lip and blush.

Mel had changed up her look from earlier in the day, where she was seen in the same pinstriped blazer with matching trousers and a white crop top. She looked in her element as multi-millionaire Christian gave her a behind-the scenes tour. Just over a year ago, Christian was accused – and subsequently cleared – over an alleged sexting scandal, which nearly cost him his job.

The Red Bull boss was accused of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ by a female colleague at the start of February 2024 before WhatsApp messages allegedly between him and the woman were leaked to the media, including 149 Formula 1 figures. Geri stood by her man and put a public show of affection with the Red Bull star when Christian was cleared after a three-week inquiry conducted by an external lawyer for the F1 team’s parent company Red Bull GmbH.

Just last month, Mel C added more speculation to a Spice Girls reunion as she revealed there are advance talks for the women to reunite. As the 30th anniversary of their debut single Wannabe rapidly approaches, the music icons are joining forces to discuss how to celebrate. And it appears that even Victoria Beckham, who in 2018 confirmed she wouldn’t be joining the band on stage for their 2019 stadium tour, is also open to discussions.

Next year, the group will celebrate three decades since they burst onto the music scene and changed history by becoming one of the biggest selling girl-groups of all time. Since their decision to disband in 2000, they have reunited on several occasions – including in 2007, 2012 for the London Olympic Games and in 2018 to tour across the UK.

Melanie said they will definitely be discussing ways to celebrate their achievements as she revealed “it’s time” for the group to return to the music scene. She said: “There has to be something befitting of 30 years since Wannabe. Once a Spice Girl, always a Spice Girl.” Speaking to Rebecca Judd on Apple Music 1, she went on to add: “We all feel like that, but we now are getting together because we know if we’re going to do anything, we have to start planning things to get things right. We have to start making the plans right now and putting them into action. So fingers crossed. I think me and Mel B are probably going to be going in there all guns blazing. Come on! It’s time!”
