Molly-Mae Hague appeared to be shaken that a photo of her kissing former fiancé Tommy Fury managed to make its way into the public sphere – and was unable to hide her reaction

Molly-Mae Hague was left exclaiming “Oh god” and “This is so bad” after she was photographed kissing ex-fiancé Tommy Fury on New Year’s Eve.

The reality star couple first fell for each other in 2019 as contestants on ITV’s Love Island. They subsequently embarked on a five year romance – that included the arrival of baby daughter Bambi in January 2023 and a romantic proposal six months later.

Fans were therefore blindsided last year when Molly-Mae, 25, revealed she and Tommy had decided to pull the plug on her relationship. Now the young mum is granting fans even more access to her personal life by starring in a reality show of her very own – with her Amazon Prime series, Molly-Mae: Behind It All.

Fans of Molly-Mae and Tommy, 25, were stunned this month to read reports that they had reunited on New Year’s Eve and shared a kiss. The reports seem to also be a surprise to Molly-Mae as she she is shown on camera reading an article all about the incident.

Staring at photos of herself with Tommy, the TV star exclaims: “Oh my god… No, my god. What?!” She is then heard saying: “Molly-Mae and Tommy Fury kiss on New Year’s Eve… That is so bad.”

A source previously explained to The Sun how the formerly engaged couple came to ring in 2025 together. They claimed: “Things are still delicate but they’ve had some long, difficult conversations over the past few weeks and, finally, are in a great place.

“Molly-Mae decided to invite Tommy fairly last minute. It was all very low-key. The pair were very flirty all night and it’s clear their physical attraction remains strong. They were all over each other as the compère counted down to midnight — it was very cute to see.”

But the source also added: “But Molly-Mae isn’t ready to launch into something officially yet. She has been very hurt in the past six months, and understandably feels pretty burned.”

Indeed, in her documentary, Molly-Mae is shown explaining how hard she is finding it to move on in life without Tommy as her romantic partner. She tells the cameras: “Tommy and I still have been communicating, because of Bambi.

“I will always respect him, being the father of my child, but… Being friends and keeping it amicable, like, all the time… It is hard.”

Some fans have questioned, however, if their entire split is nothing more than a publicity stunt and an attempt to create interest in her solo reality show. A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail: “If they announced their split, which was presumably sad news for them, to such fanfare, why would they not want to share the happy news with their fans?

“Surely you’d think that they would want to tell the world that they are back together and their brand is back intact. It doesn’t add up.” The questions have come after Tommy told Men’s Health that they split due to his alcohol issues.

He said: “The reason why Molly and me broke up was because I got addicted to alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be any more. It kills me to say it, [but] it’s true, I couldn’t. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is. People go through different things in life and we all have our crosses to bear. I’ve got mine.”
