Morrisons has launched an online, on-demand healthcare service for people across the UK.

It can be very challenging to see a GP these days, especially in urban areas, and it can be tempting to put off making an appointment. Thankfully, many common ailments can be assessed and treated by your local pharmacy, with more and more of these services being offered online too.

Catering to this, and in partnership with online prescription delivery service Phlo, Morrisons has launched its own on-demand healthcare service, Morrisons Clinic, where you can quickly and easily get the prescriptions you need from a fully-qualified team of clinicians.

Your medication will then be sent directly to your door.

You can get assessed and prescribed the necessary medication in three simple steps:

  1. Fill in the questionnaire describing your health concerns;

  2. Morrisons Clinics’ clinical team will then review your submission and prescribe a treatment accordingly;

  3. Your medicine will be dispatched and delivered promptly.

The medication is UK-sourced, all communications and packaging are confidential and discreet, there’s free Royal Mail Tracked 24 delivery, and is fully compliant with UK regulations.

Common ailments that can be assessed and prescribed for by the service include:

1. Weight loss

2. Daily contraception

3. Acid reflux

4. Hair loss

5. Migraine

6. Emergency contraception

7. Hay fever

8. Period delay

9. Acne

10. Erectile dysfunction

11. Menopause

12. Premature ejaculation

As the Morrisons Clinic website is brand new, it doesn’t have any Trustpilot reviews as yet. That said, Phlo, the service with which Morrisons has partnered for Morrisons Clinic, has a 4.7 out of 5 average from over 6,100 customer reviews. “I recently started using Phlo as my working long hours made it hard for my medication to be picked up,” said a five-star review. “They have super-fast delivery, I get my medication before it runs out, and if I have additional medication it gets sent straight away.”

“Really great company. It is wonderful to have your medicine so easy to order online, delivered to your house, and in cardboard boxes with paper tape!” said another five-star write-up. “Such a wonderful company. I love that the packaging is paper instead of any kind of plastic.”

One customer flagged an initial slow turnaround for new prescriptions. “I ordered a product and was told the wait time to go through consultation would be around a week to then dispatch, taking another 3-4 days,” said a three-star review. “I asked for a refund which was promptly actioned.”

Another pleased reviewer added: “Really useful service, so easy to use. Saves me trying to catch a pharmacy when it’s open, and working full-time makes that difficult. Would highly recommend.”

Other online pharmacies to consider include Lloyds Pharmacy, offering same-day prescriptions, and Well Pharmacy which also offers free and prompt postage.
