Shoppers could save themselves over £100 by making a switch over to something that smells ‘just a s good’ as the designer version

Marks and Spencer shoppers can save themselves a small fortune by ditching their usual perfumes for a range that smells “just like” lots of designer fragrances. But, these bottles cost no more than £10 each.

The Pink Pepper perfume is part of the Marks and Spencer Discover range. It starts from £6 for a small 30ml bottle (ideal for keeping in your bag to top up on the go) or a £10 bottle that holds 100ml.

It mixes orange blossom with floral pink pepper and jasmine. This is layered over “a sweet base of patchouli, vanilla and amber musks.”

With many similar ingredients, it’s no surprise that many shoppers could fool people into thinking they’d be wearing Lancôme’s popular La Vie Est Belle. But while this luxury perfume might be beautiful, not everyone can afford to spend over £125 on a fragrance.

Even alternating some Pink Pepper into your weekly routine might help you extend the life of your luxury perfumes. Plenty of M&S shoppers claimed this was ideal for wearing to work, while some went all the way and made this their full-time perfume.

One said: “Got this for a friend who loves La Vie Est Belle, and I saved £100 finding this one. It smells lovely, and my friend loves it!”

Another added: “I have been buying this eau de toilette since it became available. I love it. People often ask me what perfume I’m wearing.”

A third wrote: “Gorgeous fragrance for which I have received a number of compliments! I would recommend that everyone tries the Discover range; I have five and they’re all excellent.”

Someone else commented: “Love this smell and so well priced for quantity in bottle. Lasts most of the day.”

M&S shoppers don’t have to stop at just a spritz of perfume. There is also a 300ml shower gel and 300ml body lotion in the same scent too – both for £5.

And, people have a huge range of options in the Discover range. Lots picked up on the designer inspiration such as Warm Neroli being a great alternative to the pricy £105 Paco Rabanne fragrance Lady Million or Soft Iris passing off as the £104 Coco Mademoiselle.

You can find these items in your nearest M&S store. Or, most locations offer a handy click and collect service meaning you don’t have to search high and low for your chosen perfume.
