Marks and Spencer has dropped a £75 blanket stitch scarf coat that’s the perfect alternative to the viral £810 Toteme version – and almost every size is still in stock
If there’s one style of coat that’s topping the trending charts this autumn, it’s the scarf coat. So-called because of its combination of oversized cosy jacket and matching attached blanket scarf that can be wrapped around your neck, it’s the ultimate way to create a cohesive look in an instant.
The jacket has been spotted on countless celebrities and fashion lovers, and Marks and Spencer has just dropped an amazing affordable version that we’re desperate to get our hands on. The Textured Detachable Scarf Wrap Coat will set you back £75, and gives you an almost identical look to the jacket that kicked off the trend, Toteme’s £810 Draped Fringed Wool-Blend Jacket.

The M&S scarf coat comes in black and has a contrasting white blanket stitch around the edges, giving it a very similar look to the designer version. It’s made from a cosy and soft fleece-like material that keeps you warm whilst still being lightweight and comfortable to wear.
It has a neat, rounded neckline, and the oversized scarf is fully detachable, making it ultra versatile. You can wear them as a co-ordinated look or remove the scarf and wear the jacket on its own for those slightly warmer autumn days.
