Selfridges has unveiled its 2024 beauty advent calendar, which is worth over £1,000 and includes 38 beauty favourites from top brands. Here’s how you can get your hands on one
Luxury department store Selfridges is the latest retailer to launch its beauty advent calendar for this year – and it very much looks to be worth the wait. The retailer’s 2024 festive countdown is worth over £1,000, and gets shoppers hundreds of pounds worth of free products from top name brands.
The 25-day calendar has one of the highest values this year, rivalling the likes of Liberty and Space NK. Priced at £250, it contains 38 exclusive-to-Selfridges beauty favourites – six more than last year – that have a combined value of £1,024, saving £774 on the RRP.
And as for the volume of products, it’s beaten only by Sephora, whose calendar has 40 products, as well as Cult Beauty and Harvey Nichols, whose offerings both have 42 items. Of the calendar’s 38 items, 22 are full sized products for coveted brands including Charlotte Tilbury, Fenty Beauty, Tatcha and more as you count down to the big day.

I got to have a sneak peek at the calendar at Selfridges’ Christmas press show earlier this month, and it’s set to be one of the department store’s best beauty calendars to date. Coming in a huge yellow chest, the calendar opens up to reveal three jam-packed tiers filled with boxes numbered 1-25.
Inside, there’s a mix of products spanning a range of categories, including fragrance from renowned brands like Byredo and Memo Paris, alongside skincare from Charlotte Tilbury and Murad. Neom has wellness fans covered with one of their real luxury scented candles, while other boxes contain everything you need to get party ready, from Refy’s lash sculpt, to Fenty’s iconic glosses.
While there is a variety of products, there are some brands seen multiple times throughout the calendar, such as Ross J Barr, Davines and Pleasing, which may not be for everyone. But you can take a look at the full contents of the calendar below to decide for yourself.
