A neighbour from hell is waking up the furious tenant next door every morning and disturbing their sleep. The renter is hoping to deal with the crazy late-night habit but has yet to figure out a way of putting an end to their neighbour’s ridiculous ways. The anonymous resident has since taken their worries to the public, who have suggested a few possible solutions.

In a post to the r/NeighboursfromHell Reddit page, the unnamed resident shared their neighbour had been carpooling to work daily. That was not a problem in itself, but the noise of the vehicle and the time it took to pick up the neighbour is driving them mad.

They confirmed multiple cars would come to and from the property in the early hours of the morning and they say they haven’t had a peaceful night of sleep in a long while.

The resident wrote: “I live in a rented one-story house that hasn’t been been renovated since the ’70s. There is no insulation inside any of these thin walls, so we hear everything outside.

“Our house is in a roundabout, our is the one furthest from the circle right where it starts, and the neighbours giving me issues live right at the centre. They aren’t the friendliest with us since they had hoped to rent out this house first.

“Every morning around 5:40am, multiple cars stop by to drop off contraction workers I think (they all wear neon uniforms). They wait around the roundabout for my neighbours truck to pull out of their driveway so they can all hop in.

“I really wouldn’t mind if my neighbours truck wasn’t so loud. Every time he floors it to go reverse, you hear this loud AAAUUGGHH. It doesn’t help that he insists on parking inside their garage with a driveway full of their other cars.

“It wakes me up every morning without fail since my room is the closest to the road and roundabout. The drop-offs like to stay the closest to our driveway without turning off engines to avoid all the hassle of dodging the massive F-150.

“They do this every morning and every night. It doesn’t bother me much at night, but they’re on the act right now and it seems like they’re struggling to fit the massive truck into the driveway. It drives me crazy, I just want to sleep through the night peacefully ONCE.”

Members of the public have since suggested the only route to a peaceful night’s sleep may be to invest in noise muffling devices. One person wrote: “That’s annoying, I thought you were going to say they were honking that early.

“I had one of those neighbours. I doubt you can do much to make them change, but what really helped me with loud neighbours is using a sound machine. The white noise really helps.”

Another agreed, adding: “Foam earplugs. Seriously. Snoring husbands, loud hotels, quiet B&Bs out in the country with loud birds that get up before the sun, all of it, just gone.

“If you’re not sure you’ll hear your own alarm – and I have not found that to be the case – try them out on a night you don’t need to get up in the morning.”
