An immersive ‘whodunnit’ murder mystery dinner experience based on the hit Netflix film series is coming to the UK and it sounds like a must for movie fans

Early in January, Netflix gave fans an exciting sneak peek at the highly anticipated third instalment of the Knives Out series. The streaming giant teased that detective Benoit Blanc will face his “most dangerous case yet” in the upcoming film titled ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery’. Fans can expect the movie to premiere this autumn, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as the charismatic sleuth, Benoit Blanc.

But while they wait, Knives Out enthusiasts in the UK can immerse themselves in the world of murder mysteries with an exclusive interactive dining experience. Inspired by the hit Netflix film series, the event, titled ‘The Perfect Bite’ invites participants to follow in Daniel Craig’s footsteps with a thrilling ‘whodunnit’ evening.

This one-of-a-kind culinary experience is headed by acclaimed chef Maribelle Moore, who has curated a bespoke four-course menu specially for the event. Hosted in one of London’s top steak restaurants, diners will enjoy an elegant meal while uncovering a sinister mystery.

The event centres around the “Salty Six,” a former foodie group reunited at the dinner, only for longstanding tensions to erupt when a murderer strikes. Adding to the mystery is Logan Lock, a colleague of Benoit Blanc, who will attend the dinner party and enlist your help.

Clues cleverly disguised within each of the courses will lead diners to uncover a hidden message lurking in plain sight. The concept is inspired by ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery’, the second film in the franchise, in which a tech billionaire’s idyllic Greek Island retreat unravels after a murder.

‘The Perfect Bite’ is produced by Secret City, a digital and location-based design studio specialising in immersive storytelling, in collaboration with Netflix. Following its success in Canada, where it sold out rapidly, the dinner experience is now making its way to London.

The immersive experience launches on 5 June for a limited time only(Image: The Perfect Bite)

Set to launch on June 5 for a limited time only, the event will take place at Gaucho in the City of London.

The sessions run from Wednesday to Friday at 7 pm and on Saturdays at 1 pm and 6 pm.

Tickets are priced at £125 per person and can be purchased online—but don’t wait too long, as spaces are selling out fast.

Will you solve the mystery before another victim falls? Don’t miss your chance to be a detective for the evening!
