Gamers in the UK can finally pre-order Nintendo’s latest console as Switch 2 sales go live today. The Japanese tech giant finally unveiled its latest console on Wednesday and retailers around the country are now taking orders ahead of its June 5 release date.

Some retailers jumped the gun and opened pre-orders last week before quickly running out of stock, with official orders opening today. The console comes with a £395.99 price tag, with extras and add-ons available like the Mario Kart World bundle.

In the United States, Switch 2 pre-orders have been delayed following President Trump’s introduction of export tariffs on Japan, though Nintendo has confirmed this only affects US customers. UK pre-orders are set to go ahead today as planned at the official Nintendo Store, but only customers who received an invite after the launch event will be eligible to place an order.

If you’re not one of those lucky people, don’t worry because retailers, including Amazon, Argos, EE, ShopTo and Very will also be stocking the console. We’re covering the launch live and will have all the information you need to ensure you get your hands on the Switch 2.
