Tech firm Nothing is back with a new phone that’s taking aim at Apple and Samsung’s new cheaper call makers.
It’s been a good few weeks for tech fans wanting a new phone on a budget. Apple recently revealed its new iPhone 16e, which offers big features at a lower price than its flagship siblings, and Samsung has also unveiled a trio of cut-priced A-Series call makers, which start from just £299.
If that wasn’t good enough, UK tech firm Nothing has now officially confirmed the release of its latest 3a and 3a Pro devices which look pretty impressive for their price.
Both devices get Nothing’s unique styling with a see-through case and smart Glyph Interface that glows when a text arrives or alarm goes off. On the front is 6.7-inch Full HD+ screen that even gets a 120Hz refresh rate for super speedy scrolling and improved gameplay. That beats Apple’s iPhone 16e which only gets a 60Hz panel.
Owners will also be treated to some impressive camera tech with the 3a Pro even getting a periscope snapper for better zoom shots and for capturing brighter images at night. Nothing’s says this is its most advanced camera system to date so it will be interesting to see how good it really is when the reviews roll in.
Tucked under the shell is a powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, which not only boosts the overall performance but also extends battery life thanks to improved efficiency.
Fast charging, water-resistant case and Nothing’s exclusive operating system – with a new level of personalisation- are also headline features of these devices.
So how much do they cost and where can you buy one?
Price for the 3a start from just £329 with the 3a Pro costing £449.
Nothing says that most global customers will be able to pre-order Phone (3a) today (4 March) via nothing.tech.
