On The Beach has launched it’s ‘lowest price holiday guarantee’ for holidaymakers, if they book their getaway by February 3 — including destinations in Spain, Egypt and Cyprus
On The Beach has launched a ‘lowest price holiday guarantee’ if you book by midnight on February 3.
The travel company has introduced an industry-first initiative that promises holidaymakers the lowest price for their 2025 summer holiday.
The unique Price Drop Protection offer means if customers see the price their holiday fall between booking and 60 days before departure, they can claim back the difference, no matter how much it goes down by. The scheme is designed to give customers peace of mind as there is zero risk of customers missing out on a better deal.
The scheme follows recent research by On the Beach that revealed that 40 per cent of Brits feel anxious, stressed or worried about not having their summer holiday booked yet, but 63 per cent are waiting to book to see if a better deal emerges, which can add to their uneasiness.
Zoe Harris, chief customer officer at On the Beach, said: “We know that a whopping 75 per cent of holiday wanting Brits are worried about prices going up if they wait, yet many are willing to take the risk to see if they can secure a better deal. We’re now eliminating all risk, anxiety, stress and worry for customers with our industry first Price Drop Protection. Customers are guaranteed the lowest price and if it does drop, fear not, because you can claim the difference back!”
According to On the Beach’s research, last year, 63 per cent of Brits waited for a better deal before booking, with 40 per cent waiting a few months or even till the last minute to book. Of those that waited, more than half (51 per cent) said the price of their holiday stayed the same or went up considerably.
A further 27 per cent of Brits who say they plan to book their holiday with their January pay cheque and On the Beach is hoping that the scheme persuades a further 27 per cent who are undecided.
Other research revealed that more than a third (36 per cent) are spending more on their summer holiday this year.
On the Beach’s Price Drop Protection, available on all summer holidays booked until Monday, February 3, means that if a holidaymaker sees the price of their holiday drop between booking and 60 days before departure, they can claim back the difference which will appear as credit towards your next holiday.
