A new optical illusion claims to reveal your biggest strength and weakness depending on what you see first in the image. And it explains your personality based on the results
Optical illusions can help you understand aspects of your personality on a deeper level.
But in order for them to work, you have to clear your mind and stick with your initial response to the brainteaser image – usually answering ‘What do you see first?’
Now in a TikTok video, uploaded by @picpsy, people have been asked to share whether they first see a fish, dragonfly, lake, or eye when faced with a picture. The clip goes on to explain what it means depending on what you see, with the narrator stating: “First, seeing a fish, you are loyal and empathetic and people enjoy being around you.”
However, these people tend to keep their cards close, only opening up to those who have earned their trust. It continued: “Your biggest weakness is your reluctance to make decisions. Your indecisiveness has caused you to miss many opportunities. You’re easily influenced by others so it’s essential to understand what you want out of life and learn to make decisions for yourself.”
For those who saw a dragonfly, the narrator describes you as a “balanced and composed individual”. It said: “However, you have a flaw. You don’t know how to interact with certain people and prefer solitude. You are a relaxed and calm person, avoiding confrontations.”
It claimed these people would give everything for those they love, even at their own expense. It added: “You must believe in yourself. Learn to forge relationships and many new opportunities will come.” But it’s not all about the animals as those who saw the lake first have been described as “intelligent and dynamic”.
Then it said: “You can find solutions to any problem and aren’t afraid of challenges. One trait that might be your downfall is your frankness. You struggle with holding back words or controlling emotions.” Due to this, the narrator claims you can unintentionally offend those closest to you, even though this was never your intention. Finally, if you saw an eye first then you’re “creative and intelligent”.
It concluded: “You’re a creative soul. You’re the type to trust your intuition and not over analyse situations. You have unique talents and are always searching for something new.” But you easily grow weary of people or situations which might be to your disadvantage.” Sharing what they saw first, one user said: “Fish and eye.” Another user added: “Eye, very true.” A third user said: “I saw the fish and eye at the same time.”
