Thanks to the geniuses on social media, popular X, formerly Twitter, account Today Years Old revealed a mind-blowing trick in a post with their 1.1million followers. And we can assure you, this will absolutely blow your minds, quite like it did with ours…
In the video, it starts with someone saying: “How did I not know this was a thing? No more bubble overflow,” before demonstrating the clever trick in a minute-long clip. Then after realising how easy it was to pour, someone else tested the theory.
The person said: “Oh my God. That’s crazy.” So to try it out yourself, pouring a glass of Coca-Cola and swerving the fizz can be done pretty simply. Just grab a glass and bottle, then pour it down straight – imagine like a can of Guinness.
As you then pull the bottle away from the glass, you’re letting the bubbles calm down as you control the pace of the pouring. Since the useful tip was shared on social media, it quickly racked up 1,000 comments with a whopping 14.6million views.
One pointed out: “Works for beer as well.” While another added: “Wait. Which is the lock button.” A third admitted: “I’ve been pouring cans of Guinness like this for years. Perfect pint.” Then a fourth chimed in: “It’s cool and all, but why?”
