The high street retailer’s latest handbag is a hit with shoppers after being spotted on TikTok – and it’s easy to see why, as it looks just like a much more expensive version
If you’re looking to save money on fashion as part of your New Year’s resolutions, then Primark is the place to be. The budget-friendly retailer has a host of new items in store for January.
Primark is renowned for its stylish yet affordable finds, often drawing inspiration from pricier designer versions.
Currently, there’s one handbag that’s causing quite a stir on social media, with many shoppers expressing their ‘need’ to buy one. Even better, it’s priced at just £10 and bears a striking resemblance to a high-end alternative.

TikToker Mrs Narejko showcased the chic tote bag while shopping in Primark. Available in both regular and mini sizes, the light beige bag is crafted from a nylon-like material and features leather-esque straps in a darker brown shade.
The bag also boasts a convenient zip fastening and an additional longer handle tucked away inside for those who prefer a cross-body style, reports Teesside Live.
It’s evident that the design of the bag takes cues from the iconic Longchamp totes, which have been a staple in the fashion world for years. However, while a Longchamp tote will set you back around £120, the Primark version is a steal at just £10.
The mini size is even more affordable at £8.
Fashion enthusiasts in the comments noted that the bag also comes in navy – another versatile colour that pairs well with a wide range of outfits. It’s also available in black with brown straps, but you’ll need to visit your local store to find them as they aren’t available online.
Meanwhile, another TikToker Lucy’s Life at Uni purchased the black version and showed it off in a short video for her followers, exclaiming: “Guys RUN to Primark this is not a drill.”
In the comments, one fan gushed: “I love this. I’m going to Primark soon, so will have to get one.”
