Primark shoppers fell in love with the new teddy bear range after fans showcased the plush toys on social media
Jellycat fans are seriously impressed with Primark’s new plush toy range, with so many ‘cute’ teddies to choose from. Primark’s adorable range comes just in time for Valentine’s Day, and it’s perfect for Jellycat fans shopping on a smaller budget.
As most collectors will know, Jellycat toys, bags, and accessories have long been a fan-favourite. However, they’re not within everyone’s price range. The animal soft toys, for instance, start from £13.
Luckily, shoppers keen to start a collection for less can choose from a range of sweet designs at Primark. Showcasing the new products on TikTok, @prmrkliverpool wrote: “New plush teddy’s now in store.”
The video featured several toys, including a storm cloud, a sunflower plant, a croissant, a cereal bowl, a strawberry jam jar, a burrito, and an egg on toast. Fans were quick to compare the new plushies to Jellycats. Tagging a friend, one admirer wrote: “Jellycat [alternatives],” before adding a heart-eyed emoji. A second commented: “Omg.”
Another fan showcased Primark’s new collection on TikTok, clearly delighted by her find. Posting on her popular account, @emjaynee, shopper Emma Jayne Curry wrote: “Primark has done it again.”
Some of the toys included in Emma’s video were an egg in an egg cup, a ramen bowl, a frog, a unicorn, a dog, a birthday cake, a lamb and a traditional teddy bear. An excited viewer replied: “These teddies are so cute.”
Another wrote: “The wee strawberry jam jar!!” But someone thought: “They are so cute, but I feel like they are too big! You couldn’t really collect them all, you’d have nowhere to store them.”
A commenter added that they’d seen similar plush toys in Morrisons. Elsewhere, Jellycat fans have drawn comparisons to the plush products on offer at Home Bargains and TK Maxx, which also earned praise in viral videos.
