Sony’s new PS5 Pro console is now available to pre-order and will be released in time for Christmas – here’s where to shop to secure yours
Pre-orders for the PS5 Pro are now open at all major retailers including Argos, Amazon and more from October 10. Sony initially had exclusive rights to the launch from September 26, but now you’re free to place your order wherever you prefer.
The PS5 Pro is Sony’s latest console iteration, boasting a 2TB SSD, a DualSense controller, and a pre-installed copy of Astro’s Playroom. It features an upgraded GPU, Advanced Ray-Tracing, and AI-driven upscaling to enhance framerates and visual quality. However, it carries a hefty price tag of £699 in the UK, reports Birmingham Live.

In other news, if you have discs that you intend to use from your old PS5, you’ll need to purchase a disc drive, which will set you back an additional £100. The PS5 disc drive can be purchased from HMV and other retailers.
