Just weeks before wildfires decimated the Los Angeles area, leaving thousands fleeing for their lives, so-called psychic Nicolas Aujula made a grim prediction for the environment in 2025

Los Angeles: Wildfire breaks out close to Hollywood sign

A psychic who correctly predicted the Notre Dame cathedral would go up in flames also shared a startling premonition before the devastating Los Angeles wildfires took hold.

Single past-life regression therapist and hypnotherapist Nicolas Aujula has previously made a series of strangely accurate predictions, including the Coronavirus pandemic, the rise of the Black Lives Matter movement, and, more recently, Donald Trump’s 2024 election win.

South London-based Nicolas reportedly first realised he had psychic abilities as a teenager when he claimed he fell into a trance and experienced visions of his past lives. These former selves included an Egyptian queen, a nun from the Himalayas, and a lion, in an apparent realisation he regards as a “turning point in his life”.

The 38-year-old has recently made a number of predictions for 2025, including a grim premonition about the environment.

In comments made weeks before the recent tragic wildfires in LA, which have devastated communities, leaving thousands without homes, Nicolas said that extreme weather – like forest fires – will lay waste to homes of people and animals. He also predicted further damage to homes and the environment from rising sea levels and flooding.

This comes as experts highlight the role of climate change in the fast-moving fires currently decimating LA. Scientists from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) have attributed the rapidly spreading blaze to ‘hydroclimate whiplash’ – a global weather pattern which refers to dramatic swings between very wet and very dry weather. Worryingly, this phenomenon is intensifying and becoming ever more frequent as the castastrophic effects of climate change take hold.

In an interview with The Los Angeles Times, UCLA climate scientist Daniel Swain said: “We’re in a whiplash event now, wet to dry, in Southern California. The evidence shows that hydroclimate whiplash has already increased due to global warming, and further warming will bring about even larger increases.”

Opening up about his apparent abilities, Nicolas added: “It is a blessing to have that inner knowingness – though sometimes it may not always be clear what the message is, so you could get it wrong. I believe we are all psychic and have a connection with our higher all-knowing self.

“Therefore, there is nothing special about this skill. It’s just that many people are disconnected from being in touch with their inner voice or intuition. When the mind is calm, psychic information flows more freely, whereas when you are stressed or being too logical, it really hinders that. Often, people will think of someone, and then the person calls. That is an example of us tapping into our psychic self.”

At least 10 people have been killed in the nightmare fires so far, with more tragedies expected to follow. As the horror continues, Californians have been urged to “get the hell out” as soon as they receive an evacuation order in an extraordinary public statement by Senator Adam Schiff, who has warned they “cannot outrun these fires”.

Some 150,000 residents have been forced to flee their homes, while stars such as Anthony Hopkins, Paris Hilton, and Billy Crystal have seen their once-breathtaking mansions reduced to rubble. The worst-hit areas include the once glamorous Pacific Palisades community, which is now a silent ghost town of ash.

Authorities are currently monitoring five fires in total. The two most ferocious blazes – in Palisades and Eaton – have ripped through a combined 34,000 acres of land, resulting in unfathomable destruction.
