Coleen Rooney, who is set to appear in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, already has a friend going into the jungle, thanks to the Ally McCoist offered her in feud with Rebekah Vardy

Wagatha Christie winner Coleen Rooney is already likely to have a supporter in the jungle… Ally McCoist.

The pair are both due to appear in this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! with Coleen set to score a big fee for taking part.

Ex-Rangers striker Ally, 62, cheered on Coleen during her explosive legal fight with Rebekah Vardy. He even encouraged the Leicester City players to rib Rebekah’s striker husband Jamie about it.

He said at the time: “If they’re men at all, they’ll get right into him.” Laughing, he said: “You’d love to be a fly on the wall in that dressing room.”

Ally is also an outspoken supporter of Coleen’s husband Wayne. “Think what he’s achieved – the top scorer in Man Utd’s history and the top scorer in the England national team,” Ally said. “It’s an absolutely incredible achievement.”

Coleen, 38, will reportedly fly to Australia next month for this year’s series. Rebekah, 42, appeared in 2017, and was the third star voted out. Two years later in 2019, Coleen revealed she had been investigating who had leaked stories about her, and concluded they must have come via Rebekah’s Instagram account.

A High Court libel battle went in Coleen’s favour.

Ally hinted he was set for I’m a Celeb last week, joking that the jungle diet would do him good.

“To be fair, I could do with losing a stone and a half,” he laughed.
