Actress Julia Fox revealed that she dumped the rapper and ex husband of Kim Kardashian after he tried to make her sign a non-disclosure agreement – and credits son for decision
Following the shock split of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, actress Julia Fox became the subject of huge interest around the world after she started dating the rapper months later.
But their whirlwind romance only lasted a few weeks and now we know the reason why. In an interview with The Times, Julia, 34, said they never had sex and on one of their dates, they played Uno in a hotel room. At first he offered to pay for a boob job, an offer which she instantly turned down. But then he constantly asked her to sign a non-disclosure agreement and text her: “I can’t be friends with you if you don’t sign it.”
And it was at this point she said she knew their brief romance had come to an end. She told the publication, she simply wrote back: “I’ll live.” And she credits her son for helping her to stick by her decision. She added: “I really credit my son for being my grounding force. It was like, I can’t go down this spiral because no man, no matter how rich or famous, is worth one minute away from my child.”
When asked about her short-lived relationship with Kanye, who now goes by the name Ye, she has said she now regrets it. She told the publication: “I regret that relationship so much. I hate it. It was only a few weeks but enough to last me a lifetime. I was in probably the most uncomfortable position in my life and that’s saying a lot. I don’t want to be known for being anyone’s girlfriend.”
Julia started dating Kanye following her split with her child’s father, Russian pilot Peter Artemiev. It has been reported that Julia’s relationship with the hitmaker was designed to make her ex jealous but she now says it’s one of her biggest regrets, following his anti-semitic remarks.
In addition, Kanye’s need to flaunt their relationship in the public eye was a clear indication that he was using their romance to rub in the face of Kim Kardashian. She added: “It wasn’t my idea for it to go public. If anything, I was like, ‘We should wait,’ and then boom, it was done behind my back. I realised pretty quickly I was being used as a pawn.”
The pair met on New Year’s Eve in 2021 and immediately started dating but split a month later. Soon after Julia dumped him, he jumped into a relationship with Bianca, who he married in December 2022. Kanye and Bianca are said to be in the middle of divorce but those close have said the reports about their split was a publicity stunt. A source told the Daily Mail: “Kanye and Bianca were responsible for the news that they were divorcing getting out there because this is what they both told people.”
