Meghan Markle’s slogan T-shirt is the perfect off duty look, with the Duchess of Sussex once calling it her ‘favourite t-shirt of all time’ – and you can pick it up for under £20
Following the success of her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, fans have been enjoying seeing Meghan Markle in a more relaxed, off duty role. Although the Duchess of Sussex opted for plenty of chic, tailored outfits whilst hosting the new series, in the past she’s been known for an even more relaxed style.
Back in 2015 in a now-deleted post on Instagram, Meghan showed off her laid-back look with a snap of herself wearing a T-shirt that said “Mermaid Off Duty” , captioning the post: “So… pretty much my favourite t-shirt of all time. Mermaid off duty. Love!” Although it’s been a decade since Meghan raved about the top, fans of the adorable slogan top will be pleased to know you can still pick up a version of it on Amazon for £17.49.

The slogan t-shirt has a relaxed, oversized fit and comes in sizes small to 3XL in both women’s and men’s cuts. Meghan opted for the white version with red lettering, but you can also pick it up in black, navy, royal blue and pale blue.
It’s also made from 100% cotton in some colours, whilst others are made from 50%-90% cotton and 10%-50% polyester. Despite the design clearly being around for a long time, it appears to be a recent addition to Amazon, with only one review so far from a shopper who rated it four out of five stars.
Amazon isn’t the only place to nab yourself a cute slogan T-shirt, however. New Look has a fantastic selection, that ranges from place names like New York, Paris and Texas, to colourful prints and designs inspired by everything from cocktails to bands.
Meanwhile over at ASOS, there are plenty of different cuts and silhouettes to choose from. From oversized baggy band T-shirts to cropped babydoll tees inspired by the 90s with different designs and brand logos on, there’s something for everyone.
Slogan T-shirts have always been a go-to for off duty celebs and models – who can forget Paris Hilton’s iconic “That’s Hot” t-shirt from the early 00s?! They’re also the easiest way to make a casual every day outfit look a little more intentional, bringing a bit of quirkiness and edge to an otherwise simple outfit.
