“As soon as this advertised, I knew that I had to have it! I love lavender! This felt calming and smells amazing – it even helped me to drift off into a deep sleep.”

Shoppers are raving over a hair product that leaves locks ‘so soft’ and also helps them drift off to sleep thanks to it’s soothing scent. Zen is a £14.50 offering from Hair Syrup that’s bringing in nothing but five-star rave reviews.

They use three key ingredients to condition hair while also claiming to improve mood thanks to aromatherapy. Lavender is the main ingredient, that is often seen in sleep products, for its mood boosting and stress relieving properties. It’s also said to improve sleep and combat hair loss.

Oat is used to soothe the scalp while deeply hydrating dry and damaged hair, it also claims to work well on improving elasticity. Hemp seed is used for shine as well as thickening hair.

It’s brought in exclusively 5-star reviews with shoppers insisting it makes them feel relaxed while also softening their hair. One shopper said: “As soon as this advertised, I knew that I had to have it! I love lavender! This felt calming and smells amazing – it even helped me to drift off into a deep sleep. After washing it, it made my hair so soft that I couldn’t stop touching it!”

A second penned: “This blissful scented Syrup never fails to make me feel so relaxed, calm and quite literally Zen. The scent is reminiscent to a spa experience. I always feel to chilled after applying zen and later after washing my hair feels softened and refreshed. Also as someone who suffers from tension Headaches, zen is especially beneficial at relaxing my mind and easing my Headaches. Will repurchase for life!”

A third wrote: “I’ve had less hair falling out, softer and less frizzy hair, doesn’t make a major difference in growth, but it really does help the hair a lot. Also the scent makes me sleep well, which is not related to the hair but a bonus good enough to make me get it again.”

A fourth added: “Zen is my favourite so far, I have fine hair with a slight wave to it. My scalp has always had a tendency to be sensitive at best, to very irritated, flaky and sore at worst. Zen has worked the best for me, my head feels lighter and nourished and I don’t feel the need to continuously check my head. My hair looks healthier and as a result my natural texture is beginning to reappear.”

There are other hair gloss type products on the market although they don’t typically have such a range of scents. Glaze Super Gloss, £15.99, has proven popular for its ability to leave hair shiny although it doesn’t have a soothing lavender scent. Head and Shoulders have similarly released a leave on treatment for scalps, retailing at £9.99 at Boots, but it doesn’t have the scent profile of Hair Syrup.

You can get Zen for £14.50 now on Hair Syrup’s website.
