Shoppers looking to reduce the appearance of wrinkles shared high praise for the product, available from Superdrug
A shopper has praised a £7.99 product said to help ‘smooth out wrinkles’ and boost skin hydration. While it’s worth noting wrinkles are a natural part of the ageing process, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with them, some beauty gurus love products that help minimise the look of lines and wrinkles.
Sharing advice for those people, blogger Bambi Does Beauty (@bambidoesbeauty) issued the recommendation. In a post to her popular TikTok, the beauty lover showcased the Neo G Opti-Heal Silicone Scar & Wound Recovery Strips, currently on offer at Superdrug.
She claimed: “You know when people say ‘this beauty product is going to change your life’? This one actually will. I’m 34, and I don’t want Botox, but I don’t want wrinkles either. Go to the medical aisle. I’m in Superdrug, but it literally could be anywhere. You want to look for these silicone scar sheets.
“Apply these before bed, and they smooth out wrinkles, they boost collagen, they heal the skin, and they keep hydration in overnight, which basically makes your skin look juicy and youthful. They’re under a tenner, they’re reusable, and they’re stopping me from booking in for Botox.”
Reacting to the post, a commenter wrote: “I love silicone scar sheets, have noticed a difference after a few weeks.” Another revealed: “I’ve been using these sheets for a month now, and my skin feels so much smoother. It’s worth noting that the product description on Superdrug’s website does not appear to mention wrinkles. Rather, it suggests the strips are ‘ideal for healing old and new scars, closed wounds, cuts and abrasions,’ though a reviewer once more praised the strips for minimising the appearance of wrinkles.
The impressed tester said: “Have been using this strips to treat some scars as well as improve some of the wrinkles that have started forming on my forehead. They are really good quality and have been noticed the improvement.”
