Sky is ending its huge January sale tomorrow and that means there’s not long left to slash your monthly broadband bills.

If you are trying to get your finances in check then it might be a good idea to head to Sky’s website before tomorrow night, January 29. The telecoms company has just confirmed that its huge sale event is coming to an end with a new countdown timer showing there are just hours left to get cheaper broadband bills.

As long as you are quick you currently get internet access at Sky’s lowest ever price with things starting from just £27 per month. That deal includes rapid 150Mbps speeds which is easily quick enough for the average home.

If you want to supercharge those downloads you can upgrade to 300Mbps or 500Mbps. There’s even a deal on Sky’s top-notch 1Gbps plan which will let you download a full HD movie in under 40 seconds.

To help make the deals sound more enticing, Sky has even scrapped the usual sign-up fee meaning it’s totally free to join.

It’s worth noting that all of the deals above are based on a two-year contract so make sure you are happy to join for that long. Some of those speeds advertised may also not be available in all areas as you’ll need a full fibre connection to gain access to those rapid downloads.

Of course, Sky isn’t the only firm with deals available right now. Vodafone is also offering cheaper fibre speeds and BT has also cut prices in January. Many of the so-called alt-nets such as Community Fibre and Hyperoptic are also dishing out some seriously tempting deals including free broadband for 3 months.

One final thing to check is that you really need superfast downloads. Only homes that are packed with devices and people need rapid internet access. If you simply stream the odd movie and surf the web 100Mbps should be ample.
